Not yet, a couple have been in the works but its a major task
Do you know some of the good ones?
Still havnt been made lol, closest thing i got is my diagram for human bass anatomy
databayse
I could make a whole website for this
Crud website
Bene thinking sbt that for some time
Should i do it?
Honestly, when I first posted this on the form it was with the intention to make a website if one didn't already exist. But then college caught up with my and finals season hit so....
So yeah
If you do I'd totally help you
But I'm not the best at identifying sounds so.... I'd need someone with a trained ear to help me
I can find my old text doc with every named bass that counts as a bass
I can name only some, not all of the other sounds though
Theres been a shocking number of people half working on a propper database but its such a gruling task noones completed one
I BELEIVE theres about 120 basses alone without much liberty?
what would u make the website with
I've used pure html (with css, js, bootstrap, query, and other things) with a python flask backend and a sqlite3 database for all my other projects, but I'm down to learn more modern frameworks... It'd be good my college resume ngl
I'm kinda a Comp Sci major hopeful so...
i dont do python, but for a project liek this a php framework with mvc structure will probaly be best efficient. we can just turn it into a crud type app and have only said roles be able to edit sounds etc
Ah okay
I don't have experience coding in php or how to make a industry standard database site but I'm willing to learn!

you know html and css yes?
have u ever used tailwind
googling noises
Looks a lot like bootstrap, and I've used bootstrap extensively so... I should be good
They are different but they are in a way comparable
We should take this too dms and talk abt this maybe in call
Not rn tho tmr
What do you think of getting more ppl in on this project?
i never really work with multiple people remotely (not irl) on a project, so maybe keeping it just 2 for now that actually make the website is good enough. but later we can have people help us adding sounds to the website
For any of those who are looking to contribute to this project or the database itself, please DM me.
This project now has it's own discord!
We've just released a small demo of our work so far and would love for all you guys to see it.
