stuck stump
#

I lowkey don’t know what that means

random tundra
#

How do u do it

stuck stump
#

Ohhh

#

Ok

#

I see

random tundra
stuck stump
fervent crow
random tundra
#

So the sound comes out thought at the same time

fervent crow
#

form of throwing your voice technically

wooden cedar
fervent crow
#

well, projection alone is the baseline of throwing your voice

stuck stump
#

Oh I can do that

fervent crow
#

practically the same thing

stuck stump
#

Atleast I think

#

Cause I feel air coming out of both

fervent crow
#

dual projection, is you find a middle ground, between oral and nasal, and throw your voice in a way to that spot

#

for me

#

i imagine and almost make it so my voice is going to more where my mustache is

random tundra
#

How should I know if I got it or not

fervent crow
#

if your overtones become intense

random tundra
#

HMMMMMM

stuck stump
random tundra
#

Ur tongue position changes too much?

fervent crow
#

and your sound louder, espesh know if your sound both sounds super vocalized, but also its texture comes through more (when you do it orally, typically your voice comes through more and you lose a bit of texture, and nasally the opposite), dual projection is to help enhance both

wooden cedar
stuck stump
#

Idk

wooden cedar
#

?

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

I have read user terms and agreements

fervent crow
#

rather than closing your mouth/ blocking with tongue, you push it through both

wooden cedar
#

push through both?

random tundra
fervent crow
#

overtone singing is practically a lessened version of it, where you do your voice nasally, then let a small amount of the soundwaves travel bast your tongue

#

and out your mouth

stuck stump
random tundra
#

When I do it i feel part of the sound going more nasally

#

I can even do overtones with full mouth closed

fervent crow
#

people like me and codfish do it for vibration to get it louder without losing its texture

fervent crow
random tundra
#

Which is a throat singing technique

#

Can't do that with throat bass or other sounds

#

That sucks

fervent crow
#

ah lol

stuck stump
#

Idk what that is

wooden cedar
fervent crow
#

ya

wooden cedar
#

oh thats not hard? i was confused lol

random tundra
wooden cedar
#

over complicated that way too much

fervent crow
#

no lol, never said it was hard

#

i was explaining exactly it

#

how cool its explained or how cool it sounds on paper doesnt mean its hard

random tundra
#

Maybe if I get the position where I hit the overtones nasally and really memorize it, I'm gonna be able to do it

wooden cedar
fervent crow
#

oooh lol

#

ya carlos havin a skill issue- lmfao jkjk

random tundra
random tundra
#

But I can do chest bass

#

LMAO

fervent crow
#

i recently learned a good nasally throat bass technique, just to get boas bass lol

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

lol

random tundra
#

Yk I'm joking

fervent crow
#

same lol

#

we have our own specialtys

stuck stump
random tundra
fervent crow
#

been tryin for years

#

not a sound i can get

random tundra
stuck stump
fervent crow
#

when i stick a camera down my throat, i will try my best

stuck stump
#

Oh

fervent crow
#

i can do a bit of the throat bass family, the vibration bass family, the evil bass family, zombie bass (the unmarried no kids uncle), 95% of the uvula bass family, 90% of the tongue bass family, and 90% of the lip bass family

stuck stump
#

Have you tried doing the throat clearing method but instead of like using ur voice u just whisper

fervent crow
#

i get evil bass

stuck stump
#

That’s weirrddddd

fervent crow
#

loose evil bass to be presise

#

so it sounds like chest

#

but cannot get as low or bassy as it

stuck stump
#

Damn

stuck stump
wooden cedar
random tundra
#

Low

#

Just low

fervent crow
#

ya like, theres no bounds lol

random tundra
#

Ye

fervent crow
#

you can get as low as you want with training

stuck stump
#

Bro gonna blow out a speaker

fervent crow
#

welllll

random tundra
#

Chest bass can go as low as u want almost lol

fervent crow
#

not really

#

low chest bass is fun cause its completely unusable on stage

#

super precise

fervent crow
#

and so much air that completely drowns out all the texture and bass

stuck stump
#

I see

wooden cedar
#

fr? i mean like Ive been training it for 6 months and can’t go lower than like an Ab1 normally

stuck stump
#

Noisy air sounds

fervent crow
#

says alot

#

lol

#

i feel below g2 is considerably low

stuck stump
#

How do I see lkle

#

How low it is

#

I feel like using the mic on my phone wouldn’t be like

#

100% accurate

#

Right

wooden cedar
fervent crow
#

im not just saying that cause my lowest vocal pitch is D#2

#

generally thats low voice

random tundra
#

I think it's normal

fervent crow
#

true

random tundra
#

My chest bass is also on thee B1 area

#

Chest is by default a low sound because it is on 2nd undertone

stuck stump
#

Anyways what is a good app for measuring the pitch

#

You do guys recommend

random tundra
#

Idk I use a random guitar tuner

stuck stump
#

I mean I would get on my pc but like

random tundra
#

To tune my guitars

stuck stump
#

I don’t have access tn

#

Rn

stuck stump
random tundra
#

And sometimes it works with vocal stuff too

stuck stump
#

Or maybe it’s another one

random tundra
#

It's one that has a metronome on it too

stuck stump
#

I remember I was trying to tune my voice to a guitar LOL

random tundra
random tundra
stuck stump
#

Atleast for guitar

fervent crow
#

voiceless tho

stuck stump
random tundra
#

I practice my throat bass pitching with my guitar

#

And other stuff

#

Works really well so u can match pitch

#

And be more precise with it

random tundra
#

3rd undertone is even lower

fervent crow
#

that is how that works

#

unless

random tundra
#

Ye

fervent crow
#

you adjust your voices pitch higher

#

then its the same pitch

#

lol

random tundra
#

Ye ye

fervent crow
#

thats a fun effect

random tundra
#

I've been trying to get 3rd undertone chest

#

But it doesn't work like in vibration lol

#

I ill need to find another tactic to get it

stuck stump
#

I feel like it works well with a piano too

random tundra
#

Ye

#

Piano is even better because of the bigger range

fervent crow
#

and somewhat difficult tbh, typically lowering both is the normal habit people have, then with training prefurably you can lower the basses pitch and keep the same voice pitch, then you can train keeping the basses pitch the same and raising the voice to go down, but thats super hard

random tundra
#

Ye I only can do that with lip bass

#

Which I think it's the easiest one to do it

#

I can go from 1st to 2nd undertone without changing the lip bass note

fervent crow
#

ya

random tundra
#

Just going down with voice

fervent crow
random tundra
#

Aaaaah

#

So I don't think it's 2nd undertone actually lmao

#

Because I'm going down

#

Maybe it's a 5th interval lip osc

fervent crow
#

that would be lip buzz if any

random tundra
#

Yeye

fervent crow
#

like a lowered lip buzz

random tundra
#

I always confuse these names

fervent crow
#

cause lip buzz is practically like constricted singing on the lips

random tundra
#

Ye

#

That's what I do

fervent crow
#

ye

stuck stump
#

Mmm b4

#

What does that mean

#

💀

fervent crow
#

the note B on the 4th octave

stuck stump
#

Ohh

#

I think that’s pretty low right

random tundra
fervent crow
random tundra
fervent crow
#

lol

stuck stump
#

Or is that

fervent crow
#

thats pretty high

stuck stump
#

High

fervent crow
#

well

stuck stump
#

Oh

fervent crow
#

technically halfway

stuck stump
#

💀

fervent crow
#

or no

#

3 is halfway

random tundra
#

That's higher than my normal speaking range

#

Ngl

fervent crow
#

my normal speaking range is A2 - D3

stuck stump
#

But

#

The tuner app

#

Said my chest has

#

Bass

#

Was b4

fervent crow
#

its probs picking up the air

stuck stump
#

💀

#

Oh

#

Fair

random tundra
#

Maybe it captured an overtone

random tundra
#

Or just air

fervent crow
random tundra
#

Yeah lol

stuck stump
#

What about

#

E1

random tundra
#

BTW if find really hard to get overtones with chest bass

fervent crow
random tundra
#

Only can get it vocalized with falsetto 100% nasally

random tundra
fervent crow
#

ooh overtone singing?

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

or just overtones

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

I see

random tundra
fervent crow
#

a pitch only elephants theoretically can hear

random tundra
#

Holding it

fervent crow
#

was bouta say

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

vocalized chest bass explodes in overtones lol

random tundra
#

Lmao

#

With slizzer bass I van get it really.easily

fervent crow
#

makes sense

#

overtone singing is quite reliant on tongue position

stuck stump
#

This tuner app is really cool

random tundra
#

It's waaay easier than throat bass

stuck stump
#

It can even tune my fan

#

💀

random tundra
stuck stump
random tundra
#

Ye

stuck stump
#

Oh

#

I thought you two were like opposite LOL

#

One really good at throat one really good at chest

random tundra
#

Not quite

#

I can do some throat bass stuff

stuck stump
#

Nice

random tundra
#

But my thing is more on chest bass and inward bass

stuck stump
#

How can I tell wether I’m doing throat bass or vocalized chest bass

random tundra
#

So

#

Throat bass feels sharp af

stuck stump
#

Cause to me it sounds like throat bass but it’s like

random tundra
#

While chest is round

stuck stump
random tundra
#

And kinda wet depending on how u do it

random tundra
stuck stump
#

But I feel like some chest bass textures

#

Can also sound like that

random tundra
#

Can u send an audio of it?

stuck stump
#

Ok

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

This is pretty loose tho I can do tighter and it sounds sharper I think

stuck stump
#

Overtone singing

stuck stump
random tundra
#

Sounds round

random tundra
#

The real thing is throat singing techniques

#

Thats were the things starts to get gooooood

stuck stump
#

Wait how is slizzer bass different from throat bass

#

Like

#

In terms of

random tundra
#

So

stuck stump
#

How you achieve it

fervent crow
#

hard to tell what my lowest bass it cause im tempted to beleive my tuning app doesnt like going past F1

random tundra
#

Slixzer bass is made by the same muscle as chest bass

random tundra
#

And throat bass is made by the false folds

fervent crow
#

like my fry sub and vocal bass went down to f1, and my inward

random tundra
#

Both at the 1st undertone

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

Mb

#

Typo

#

I meant

#

Different from

#

Vcb

random tundra
random tundra
fervent crow
#

yes

random tundra
random tundra
# random tundra So

Vcb is usually at 2nd undertone, which is an octave and a 5th interval to the fundamental note made by the voice

#

On slizzer bass

#

It's on 1st undertone, which is an octave lower than the fundamental note made by the voice

#

Which is the same interval as throat bass

#

That's why people gets confused between both

fervent crow
#

same reason people thing vcb is vibration bass and vice versa

random tundra
#

Yep

fervent crow
#

cause they are both naturally 2nd undertone

random tundra
#

U can think like

#

Slizzer being the throat bass equivalent of chest bass

stuck stump
#

Mmmm

#

If I go really low with that slizzer bass

#

And relax a lot

#

It starts sounding almost like vibration bass

#

Is that actually just

#

Vcb

random tundra
#

Or u get baboon bass or vcb

fervent crow
#

ya

random tundra
fervent crow
#

you either get a low baboon or VCB when you do those steps

random tundra
#

Ye

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

depends on if you lower your voices pitch or just the cuneiforms

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

Beatbox naming convention be wildin

fervent crow
#

the bmwoaw

stuck stump
random tundra
fervent crow
#

named after the beatboxer baboon

stuck stump
#

Ohhh

fervent crow
#

who originated the sound and taught it to vino who taught it to den

random tundra
#

It's a loose slizzer bass

stuck stump
#

I thought it was supposed to be like monkey sound or smth 💀

random tundra
#

Like loose throat bass

#

But with slizzer bass

#

Sounds good af ngl

random tundra
#

U should get 2nd undertone chest bass

fervent crow
stuck stump
random tundra
stuck stump
random tundra
#

I can go low with slizzer bass

stuck stump
#

Can you send like a video clip idk

random tundra
#

But I can get it loose

stuck stump
fervent crow
random tundra
#

With the timestamp

fervent crow
#

when he does the bmwow nenenuma bmwow

fervent crow
#

basically a super low undertone of fasletto uvula bass

random tundra
random tundra
fervent crow
random tundra
#

Ye

stuck stump
#

I guess I don’t really have much experience with beatbox so it just sounds like vcb to me 😭

random tundra
fervent crow
#

ya

stuck stump
stuck stump
#

Monkey bass as in like the stereotypical monkey sound like “oo oo oo ah ah ah”

random tundra
#

LMAO

fervent crow
#

not really? more like a demon monke screaming?

#

its name is... weirdly fitting tbh

stuck stump
#

😭

#

Demon monkey screaming

#

That’s

#

Terrifying

random tundra
stuck stump
#

😭

#

Can I hear

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

not overtly high

stuck stump
#

That sounds super cool

fervent crow
#

not like my super high falsetto uvula bass

random tundra
#

Ye it's a cool.soind

stuck stump
#

But I can see how if that was used for the screaming of a demon monkey it could be terrifying 💀

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

on some sounds i can get a couple notes higher

random tundra
fervent crow
#

makes sense

random tundra
#

But I can't get high my normal voice

#

That's weird af

random tundra
wooden cedar
fervent crow
#

i can go high with most of my basses with that voice, besides any inward basses (cause i cant do the voice inwards)

fervent crow
#

well, or is it, vsauce, micheal here

#

so

random tundra
stuck stump
fervent crow
#

if we start at C1, then yes, 4 would be, BUT, we add zero into the equation

stuck stump
random tundra
#

Isn't C4 middle C because it's on the middle of a piano?

wooden cedar
random tundra
#

Or I'm speaking bs

wooden cedar
#

C0 is below the piano

random tundra
fervent crow
#

sorry octave

#

0-7

wooden cedar
#

ah

stuck stump
#

@fervent crow how can your voice go so high 😭

#

I wonder if girls will make insane dubstep high pitched basses

#

Since they have a naturally higher voice

random tundra
#

Lol probably

#

Maybe if mix it with chest bass

#

Or uvula

stuck stump
#

Ye

#

POV: ur girlfriends ear piercing scream but with BASS

fervent crow
#

cause i found out you can go into negatives

random tundra
#

Ye

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

also i beleive you can go past 7

stuck stump
#

-20hz

random tundra
stuck stump
#

💀

random tundra
fervent crow
#

the guiness book of worlds record for lowest pitch is -7

random tundra
fervent crow
#

g-7 to be precise

stuck stump
wooden cedar
random tundra
#

That's an insanely low frequency

random tundra
fervent crow
#

or (with a teensy bit of rounding), less than 0.3hz

stuck stump
#

Mmmmm

stuck stump
fervent crow
stuck stump
#

Bro that’s wild

wooden cedar
#

before I trained my falsetto I only had up to an F4, after I can get D5 on a good day but usually tap out around C5

fervent crow
#

he can make his voice go even higher

stuck stump
#

Yeah

fervent crow
#

my chest voice can go up to A4

stuck stump
#

Wait who was the other guy that has the really cool high pitched bass

#

Was it zvd I forgot

glass hemlock
#

how do u tell what note it is

#

i wanna see mine

random tundra
#

Tuners

#

Guitar tuner app or something like that

wooden cedar
#

or damn good relative pitch or absolute pitch

random tundra
#

Ye

glass hemlock
#

i got a friend w perfect pitch

#

i shall ask her later

stuck stump
#

how high does ur falsetto go @fervent crow

fervent crow
#

my chest voice range is D#2 - A4, my falsetto range is D3-C6, and i cant tell if im going whistle reg or not tho

stuck stump
#

I just tried mine and it was like g5 flat

fervent crow
#

:)

glass hemlock
#

i did a pitch frequency detector thing

#

i can do an a4

#

whatever that means

fervent crow
#

note A on the 4th octave

stuck stump
#

Falsetto or chest voice

glass hemlock
#

i am not musically inclined if u couldnt tell lmao

fervent crow
#

so about as high as my chest voice goes without going falsetto

glass hemlock
#

head voice i think its called

wooden cedar
fervent crow
glass hemlock
#

chest voice then yeah

stuck stump
#

Man what

#

Why my chest voice so low

#

💀

glass hemlock
#

a4 my top out

stuck stump
#

My highest chest voice is only e4

glass hemlock
#

i used to be able to hit whistle notes, but then puberty happened

random tundra
#

My vocal range kinda sucks

glass hemlock
#

also i posted this somewhere before

#

is this poly?

#

i cant tell if its just air, or if theres actually 2 notes

random tundra
#

It's is polt

#

Poly

wooden cedar
random tundra
glass hemlock
#

the thing is saying my lowest is an A1

wooden cedar
stuck stump
#

What’s the highest you guys can whistle

fervent crow
#

OH CRAP, I CAN GO HIGHER WITH CHEST VOICE NOW

stuck stump
#

Like just normal whistle

fervent crow
#

LESS GOOOOO

glass hemlock
#

i cant whistle

random tundra
#

The lowest I've ever got was with a 2nd undertone false folds fry

fervent crow
#

IVE LEVELED UP

stuck stump
#

Not like any other weird whistle

random tundra
#

Shi os crazy low

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

oh i could prolly get lower w bass

#

i was just doing normal voice

random tundra
#

Ye

wooden cedar
glass hemlock
#

i dont even know if the pitch detection thingy is accurate either

fervent crow
#

i can hit C5 now without doing falsetto

glass hemlock
glass hemlock
#

it autocorrects to inward bass

#

cannot do them

fervent crow
random tundra
#

But false folds fry is different

wooden cedar
# fervent crow like alone?

yeah, and also cant mix it with modal voice for lower non subharmonic notes(some call strohbass, some fry-mix)

random tundra
#

To normal fry subharmonic singing

stuck stump
#

I can only whistle up to b6

#

Like

#

Normal whistle

fervent crow
#

according to my tuner my lowest fry sub is f1

random tundra
#

Wait

fervent crow
#

with 1st undertone fry

wooden cedar
#

my lowest fry sub 1st undertone is C1, a few months ago I hit a B0 1st undertone though but haven’t seen it since then

glass hemlock
random tundra
stuck stump
# fervent crow

What bass is adi kerang using when he does the high pitched bnenenene

random tundra
fervent crow
random tundra
#

My tuner don't work with this

wooden cedar
#

mine cuts off below Ab0

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

yoshi

stuck stump
#

Mimimi

wooden cedar
#

maybe ill try to get fry back but i doubt ill be able to 😔

random tundra
stuck stump
#

How can people do vocal fry so loudly

#

Mine is so quiet

wooden cedar
#

i need to stick a camera down my throat

fervent crow
wooden cedar
random tundra
random tundra
glass hemlock
#

what is fry

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

or usable

#

lol

glass hemlock
#

whst does it sound like

stuck stump
#

I feel like I’m trying to learn too many things at once LOL

#

I see something cool I’m like I want it

#

💀

wooden cedar
#

im able to use it really well in choir settings and be louder than an entire section

random tundra
#

Are u a bass singer?

stuck stump
#

I want it du du dudududu du dududu something something woah du dududu

wooden cedar
random tundra
#

That's cool as hell

wooden cedar
#

its fun

glass hemlock
fervent crow
fervent crow
#

like look at indicator or enel, good examples of fry, and they had to have insane mixes to sound good

wooden cedar
stuck stump
glass hemlock
stuck stump
#

Something about his pelvis 😭

wooden cedar
#

2nd undertones still have a little struggle but mostly there

glass hemlock
#

hes shaking his pelvis

stuck stump
#

Reminds me of that one round kaji did against Julard I think

#

Where he says some

#

Idk what he says

fervent crow
#

"you know what i want shakin my pelvis" i think?

stuck stump
#

But I think it’s supposed to be a cover

#

To

#

Infected mushroom

#

I think

glass hemlock
#

we never found out what was in his pocket

stuck stump
#

But I still have no clue what he is saying

stuck stump
random tundra
wooden cedar
stuck stump
#

I lowkey thought he was gonna pull out a whistle like hellcat

#

Idk why

random tundra
#

But lwk there is something there

stuck stump
#

It’s just the first thing I thought of

random tundra
#

OOOOH I just found out 2nd undertone fry sub

#

Cool

fervent crow
#

ah so enel fry maybe

glass hemlock
#

is polyphonic fry possible

fervent crow
#

if its full enough

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

that sounds like itd be cool

fervent crow
random tundra
#

It just got lower

glass hemlock
#

Like poly with fry on top

fervent crow
#

ah

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

not polyphonic fry lol

glass hemlock
#

So u get 4+ notes

fervent crow
#

poly + fry

fervent crow
#

poly voice is typically only 2 notes

glass hemlock
#

2 from poly

#

1 from fry

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

and 1 from extra air if that can be counted as a note

fervent crow
#

no lol

#

never have we counted it as a note

glass hemlock
#

if it makes a sound, im calling it a note 😎

fervent crow
#

we are not adding + one note to all sounds lol

wooden cedar
fervent crow
#

tho fry + poly voice is probs possible, would be super precise, about as precise as low poly + high poly

random tundra
#

With false folds fry its a bit easier

#

The thing is that to make false folds fry is hard af

#

Weird af feeling

wooden cedar
#

now I want to try false fold fry

random tundra
wooden cedar
#

do you have anywhere for me to start from 😭

random tundra
#

So

#

I get this when my throat is SUPER wet

#

Like

#

Super super super wet

#

And I try to make throat bass

stuck stump
random tundra
#

And go low with it

#

Instead of actually getting a lower throat bass or vibration

#

My false folds starts to fry

wooden cedar
#

how tf

random tundra
#

Its weird

stuck stump
#

What how

random tundra
#

It's the same feeling as fry sub but on the false folds

#

It's a super beefy sound

wooden cedar
#

interesting

random tundra
#

Like

wooden cedar
#

idk how well Ill be able to get it cuz I always have an insane amount of phlegm in my throat

random tundra
#

Yk that feeling when there's a bunch of mucus on ur throat and u want to do a hmhm to clear it?

wooden cedar
#

yeah?

random tundra
#

Instead of clearing I let my throat get wet

fervent crow
#

its hard for me to tell if im getting it or just doing alien bass tbh

random tundra
#

And then do throat bass and try to get low with it

#

Then it starts to fry smh

random tundra
#

There no other way to describe it

wooden cedar
#

can you stick a camera down your throat sometime perchance

random tundra
#

Lmao I wish

fervent crow
random tundra
#

That's a good point

random tundra
#

Maybe I will need to learn alien bass to get the difference lol

fervent crow
fervent crow
#

(constricted singing_

random tundra
#

Damn sounds way different actually

random tundra
#

Also more electronic I think lol

fervent crow
#

again, i dont even know if im doing it

#

it could just be a form of alien bass

random tundra
#

Ye

#

Maybe

random tundra
wooden cedar
random tundra
#

Probably it will help

wooden cedar
#

for once it might actually not be a negative thing 😭

random tundra
#

Lmao

idle dagger
#

@fervent crow what the hell is electric bass

idle dagger
fervent crow
#

might be, idk, electric bass everytime ive heard it has been different lol

#

people cant decide

random tundra
#

did u tried it?

fervent crow
#

Nah my evil is weird, sometimes good sometimes not

#

Allways wrecks my throath

random tundra
#

lol

random tundra
fervent crow
#

Ya lol

stuck stump
#

How can I avoid the squeaking sound when i do Kenozen bass

fervent crow
#

You're getring a squeaking sound???

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

Hmm

#

Just try to open more space by your uvula?

@fervent crow what I should do to make my side click roll and side tongue roll into middle?

#

Dumb ass question but I just can't do it

fervent crow
#

Hmm

#

Ypu talkin inward for both or turn it into middle clickroll and middle tongue bass

random tundra
#

Middle clickroll and middle tongue bass

fervent crow
#

ah kk

#

try having your tongue in more of an L shape for tongue bass, and more of a J shape for clickroll

random tundra
#

Actually I just realized idk if I'm doing middle or side tongue bass lmao

#

The tip of it vibrates

#

But not on the middle

#

Weird to explain

fervent crow
#

so

#

side tongue bass is funny

#

i like to teach people imagine your tongue like a square

#

even tho its not

#

typically side tongue bass is more on the corner

fervent crow
fervent crow
#

i went through this exact same issue

#

for 3 months, i couldnt do middle tongue bass cause i learned side tongue bass

random tundra
#

look dms

fervent crow

bass

stuck stump
#

It feels kinda weird it hurts a lot 😭

#

Btw which part is vibrating when you burp

fervent crow
stuck stump
fervent crow
stuck stump
fervent crow
stuck stump
#

I feel like it has quite a bit of bass in like a long one

stuck stump
#

I hear people talking about “pressurization” all the time in basses

#

But idk what that means

fervent crow
#

There are dinosaur rawrs, which are extended burps, and they can be vocalized

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

I need to hear that bro what

stuck stump
#

Anyways this bass hurts a lot 😭

#

It feels like I’ve been yelling at the top of my lungs for the past 8 hours

fervent crow
#

Like you tighten the area so it uses less air, but it... It can still go super low and slow, and sounds clickier

#

Its basically the difference between normal uvula bass and evil uvula bass for me

stuck stump
#

Mmm if I tighten anymore I sound like I’m choking

#

But not like a bassy choke

#

Like an airy choke

fervent crow
fervent crow
#

Anyways ima go back to sleep

stuck stump
#

Alr gn

narrow pike
fervent crow
#

I beleive it was a theory subharmonikz had for it-

narrow pike
#

i mean

fervent crow
#

Cause we needed a way to explain dinosaur roar lol

narrow pike
#

the side of the trachea facing the esophagus doesnt even have any cartilage

#

like its designed to move out of the way of incoming food

#

i dont think anything there can rattle if theres only a membrane

narrow pike
fervent crow
#

A super extended burp, basicallt only way to use it as a bass

narrow pike
#

and how does the esophagus opening and closing not explain it

random tundra
#

after some time, u will get used to it and it will start to get lowert

stuck stump
stuck stump
#

How can I stop whistling in my lip roll 😭

#

It sounds cool sometimes but it’s annoying cause I’m accidentally doing it when I don’t mean to

random tundra
#

Mess around with the tongue position

fervent crow
meager wave
#

I’m proud I’ve been practicing and my throat and lip bass are pretty much perfect :D.

fervent crow
#

Nice

tidal quartz
#

can anyone help me with this?

#

i need a clearer tutorial

fervent crow
#

im not as knowlage able about metal screams- carlos is the best bet but idk

random tundra
#

I suck at these

fervent crow
#

lmfao

random tundra
#

can't help unfortunately

fervent crow
#

and you're better then me sadly

#

sooo

#

ya

random tundra
#

got false folds scream only 2 times and was the one of the worst sounds I`ve ever made

narrow pike
#

on some laryngoscopy stuff for metal screaming it definitely looked like evil bass to me maybe with varying degrees of whisper but the false cords also werent completely still, so idk if false fold screams are just a "misconception" or if theres many different techniques (prob the latter tho)

#

and I might also just be talking out of my ass since I cant do any of these so take it with a grain of salt

tidal quartz
#

so does anyone here know some type of screams?

random tundra
#

But the main part are the aryepiglottics and false folds I think

little bloom
#

sorry for the phone recording, does anyone know what this is the beginnings of? can’t tell if i’m going anywhere with this sound, trying to play around with the resonance and try to get the vibration consistent but other than that not sure what to do from here specifically

#

not sure how it would fit in a beat either 🙃

#

all i know is the way I’m doing it it’s inhaled and I really really struggle to get it through my nose with my mouth closed, ends up in my nose instead of my throat that way and just sounds like a snore

It doesn’t have like the right vibration/resonance that zombie bass usually does

fervent crow
#

Then again mine hardly does as well

hushed dust
#

Can you help me figure out this bass

#

I have like a triple evil bass idk where it came from

fervent crow
#

Maybe

hushed dust
#

And it hurts

#

Did it for my grandma the other day and she started praying

fervent crow
#

lol

#

theres a pseudo double evil

#

but i dont think weve even figured out normal double evil due to how the arytenoids are

hushed dust
fervent crow
#

pseudo double sounds is when you jhave two very simular sounds, and layer them ontop of eachother

#

rather than a double sound where its 2 of the same sound

#

so like my pseudo double clickroll

hushed dust
#

Ohhh okk

fervent crow
#

i use clickroll + uvula clickroll

#

rather than clickroll + clickroll

hushed dust
#

I get it now

#

Dope dope

#

I definitely have 3 evil basses on top of each other

#

Its like Tails bass

#

But way better

fervent crow
#

well, that would likely require.... evil throat bass + double evil bass, which theoretically isnt possible rn

#

tho anatomy changes everything

hushed dust
#

I got choked out by my grandma when i was a baby so it altered my vocal chords

#

So thats why I can

fervent crow
#

more so would alter larynx shape

#

which would alter more than just your vocal chords

hushed dust
#

Yee

#

Triple evil bass

fervent crow
#

i will have to hear it

#

and by i

#

i mean either iks or carlos, carlos has actual pitch

narrow pike
#

Id love for you to prove me wrong but I dont think thats humanly possible

brazen elbow
#

How does Kingdom do that ressonance sound..

fervent crow
#

Which one? Lmao

#

Like is it a base, filtered speaking tp boost resonance

fervent crow
#

When he got kinda like bwaaah with that bass... Hmm

#

Really hard to hear with that mix and the dynamic mic

#

Its so muddy

fervent crow
#

sounds like inward poly in a weird way, or just a synth texture with a weird vocal style

fervent crow
#

Makes sense tbh

tepid comet
#

do u have the tutorial u learned from bro? it sounds like your pretty good at it no?

fervent crow
#

nah, just sorta got it by accident, related it and memorized the tongue movement

#

i havnt watched a propper tutorial in... a long time

#

well, used a tutorial and gotten the sound

#

well i guess recently i half watched the tutorial for boas bass, but just cause i was told to

tepid comet
tepid comet
#

ive seen people do it with an inside mouth click or just forcing air in their mouth

fervent crow
#

i do it by forcing pressure/air from my mouth and out my nose with my tongue/jaw

tepid comet
fervent crow
#

Ye

#

Never heard of spmeone doing it with a click

tepid comet
fervent crow
#

about the same technique im doing

random tundra
#

this sounds is shi to get loud

#

but after like

#

a couple months doing it

#

I got it

#

loud

random tundra
#

this sound is not hard after u get it

#

because it doesn't use air

random tundra
#

I got it by trying to scratch my throat with my tongue

fervent crow
#

My gf has it decently loud

tepid comet

brazen elbow
#

Not really bass, but how do I do double voice?

random tundra
#

like show-go?

#

do black magic or something like that

#

only way

fervent crow
#

Its mechanics is basically yodeling between falsetto and a high head voice, so their notes are super close together

fervent crow
#

honestly hard to tell cause of the mix

#

i can obv hear tongue bass and clickroll

#

i think i also hear a bit of uvula bass in it

#

and i really wanna say i hear the occasional evil but with that mic mix everything sounds like evil

unkempt drum
#

Damned compressed mix 🫠

random tundra
fervent crow
#

ya just so hard to tell with his compression

keen egret
#

is this vibration? i for some reason really stuggle with differentiating low vocalised chest and vibration, especially since when im trying to anything throat/vibration bass related i default to chest for some reason and i find it really difficult to not do chest 😭

fervent crow
#

Muscle memoru for the second bit, they are super close together, i cant listen rn cause in call, but makes sense you struggle differentiating cause of them being the same subharmonic

tepid comet
#

do u have an evil bass tutorial? this sounds sick

tidal quartz
#

does anyone know how to do extrem metal vocals?

Is this a correct throat bass?

Ooo

random tundra

then vocalize

stable crest

Thats diff with throat bass?

random tundra
stable crest
#

Hahaha damn

random tundra
#

throat bass has ur false folds vibrating an octave under ur voice

stable crest
#

Do we have a guide to make a sound like it

random tundra
#

fry is only vocal folds

random tundra
#

or just use the cleaning throat method

#

but the chances of getting chest bass with it is higher

random tundra
#

u basically do a hm-hm and extend it with ur voice

stable crest
stable crest
random tundra

u call it jayton voice because jayton uses it when he sings

brazen elbow

How..

random tundra
