#how do I create better routines

Well, pick out some of your most easily accessible sounds, and pick out some of your favourites.
Place them in triplets, or in twos, fours, sixes etc..
practice doing them and filling in the gap with just the usual kick drum, a snare, some TkK’s or other generic fillers.
All in all, it would be unique sound patterns wrapped around with generic sounds; rhythm plays a big role - use a metronome for practice
But tbh, 100% it would be better if you get suggestions from others too, as many people have many different ways to create good routines
So, I think you need listen more music. Its will help you with your own structure, and with musicallity too.
I mean, Den is doing covers for many songs, as example, and he has musical skills. Sometimes, you can be inspired by walks in parks, museums, movies, maybe anime and exc.
All in all, you need listen to music XD
uses sounds you already know and put them into scenarios like intro, verses, beat verses, wordplay or something like that
i am not a full on routine guys so i recommend you check out Human beatbox how to make structure routines
it's url is humanbeatbox.com
Find your own way
Freestyle is key but do it with your favorite and most practiced sounds/combos and then once you do it enough after practicing your structure will level up immensely
