The title doesnt quite match your point Troy! Did you mean to say ‘Let former HR keep their rank if they want to come back’? Just because youve out two different ranks down is all😓 But if an HR resigned and wished to return they can always work their way back up again alike everyone else! If theyre an awesome HR im sure theyd eventually get the opportunity to become once again either way :)
Adding on though, we do get new HRs which are also just as awesome! So I think the way it currently works is alright, but this is an interesting suggestion! :)

How would Staffing know they wish to return…? Also, if you think about it you have some MRs who have been there for a very long time, some have even been an MR longer than current HRs have been here overall (in the odd rare occasion), meaning if those MRs have to work up again shouldnt the HRs…?😓

I get that, but we have some MRs that have been around for 12+ months, while we have HRs who are only on around 10 months sometimes, so why should the HRs get to immediately be promoted to SA if they want to return and not the MRs who dedicated many months here iykwim? It does take ages to work up but you resign as you dont wish to be an MR/HR anymore, so you always have the choice of staying as its you whos making the decision

when I resigned from om I was ranked to os instead of client so I didn’t even have to work back up and some people have to resign because of personal reasons not just because they don’t want to be one or cant be arsed to do the requirements anymore

i personally don’t think this is fair, while they might be a valuable hr it was their choice to resign and it overall isn’t fair to other mrs who also may be working up! while this is a nice idea i think if they resign if they feel like they want to return they should do as everyone else and work back up. i think letting a rank determine if you have to actually do the work is not fair and i think hrs should work up the same way as everyone !

i disagree! even if someone was a great hr before they resigned, giving them staff assistant straight away isn't fair to everyone else who's currently working towards it

a lot of mrs put in a lot of time and effort to get where they were, so skipping that process just because they used to be an hr could feel like free ranking

also systems, expectations and the team can change while they're gone, so working back up helps them properly readjust instead of just jumping straight back in

personally i think they shouldnt get sa because if for example they resigned like 5+ months ago they wouldnt be familiar with some of the systems, and exactly the reason why they resigned is because they don't want to be an mr+ anymore. one more thing is that it wouldnt be fair just like issy said above ^, that also means they resigned willingly, and it would not be fair to give them instant progress which would not be fair to all of the lovely and hardworking os we have that have been trying for SA
