šŸ‚ Here I leave you an idea that came to my mind, and I think it would be very fun. Please, read the entire suggestion before giving your opinion respectfully. <3

So, the host would send a word in a different language and the first person to say how the word is in English wins. (Ex: Host says "hola" and people have to say "hi/hello". Also, I don't think this would be very hard to host, since the way to see who wins is like in the other minigames we have where you have to guess something. Another positive point is that this way we have more variety with minigames since some of them get repetitive.

State your opinion below! Please remember to respect other opinions, and always discuss respectfully! Thank you so much for reading! pinkblush

i think to those who solely speak one language, it could cause an unfair advantage for others if others don't know much. especially our younger audience c:

#

its a lovely suggestion though!

I agree with aria, we have a very young playerbase and it would be unfair on those who don’t speak other languages as they literally wouldnt be able to play the game without searchinf up on google which by that time someone will already have it anyway !

Yeah, I understand it can be a bit difficult for people who only speak one language but we would send easy and common words. Also, I think that if we stick to that, guess the song is difficult when you don’t listen to that type of music or that singer, or in trivia when you’re not familiar with the theme.

I AGREE!! i think if it was like easier words such as 'hola' or 'bonjour' which are pretty common i think its a great idea!

Yeah yeah, I understand it.

wont know what " hola " means

but they'll know the song golden!

for example

vague ingot
#

For example, I don’t listen to that type of music, so it’s difficult to ask questions that everyone know!

covert marten
#

not everyone is going to know all of the songs but its more likely that they would have heard of them than translating words, i do think its a good idea but im just thinking of our younger audience

50/50 for me, there’s some younger kids that play. And yes- I understand what cognates are. I mean sometimes there’s difficulty with spelling in English for some, which will make it even harder. (IM NOT SHAMING) and I’m not talking about people who are learning English, I’m talking about little kids.

#

I feel like the thing will only be fair for the older kids/teens who play

Overall, I hope you didn’t take this as disrespectful! Just my opinion.

I’m sure that it’s common sense, even for some younger players to know AT LEAST the most basic words in foreign languages, for example hola, bonjour. however, since there aren’t many common & easy words, it could get repetitive!

I honestly love the idea, if its mostly like easy words/languages then i would love for this to be a minigame.

I just don’t think there are enough common words in other languages younger kids would know. Yes there’s words like ā€˜hola’ and ā€˜bonjour’ but both of those mean hi which majority of other common words also mean. I also think this would get repetitive from shift to shift because like I said before, there’s only so many words you can use.

#

I don’t think repeatedly translating hi, goodbye, and please would be very exciting and keep people engaged for 10 minutes.
