I know this is kinda weird, but, hear me out.
Some patients are really sweet and kind, but some are really annoying and stressfull.
I would really like if us dentists could rate patients, even if we needed to cancel.
I dont find it fair that trollers get the (kinda) same treatment as sweet patients.
I think this request is pretty good, thoughts?

I don’t think this would necessarily benefit anybody since about 90% of patients you only see once and probably won’t run into again. because of that, the ratings wouldn’t really hold much long term value. also a lot of patients are just here for a quick visit, so it might feel unnecessary to rate them. I feel like it could also lead to some negative experiences if people get low ratings just for being new or not knowing what to do!! I think that this is a lovely suggestion but that’s just my input on this
unfortunately i dont think this would work out, most of the time the clients that come here are one-time (meaning they probably wont return, or at least as a client) and star ratings on a client would be pretty pointless. i understand that clients can be annoying at times, but you can always follow the trolling protocol and they will be dealt with and possibly not return! plus, regardless of whether your client is a troller or a sweet patient, you should always treat them equally and not treat trollers worse just because they troll (if you know what i mean), you should still treat them with the same respect but just obviously following troller protocol. i dont know if this makes any sense but lmk if you need explaining further 👍
im sorry, i disagree. clients aren’t meant to put on their best behaviors for ratings, that’s more of a staff thing. clients are just there to get their procedure done and then most likely leave. if they’re trolling, there’s no point in giving them a rating because the first thing you should be doing is reporting them. the clients rating really has no point because that shouldn’t change how staff or anyone behave towards them, and i don’t really think that client will be dedicated to the game to stay as a client and get their rating up like that.
clients wouldn’t benefit from having ratings as they arent required to behave a certain way, just follow the rules. so the only time you’d put a bad rating is when you’d need to call an mr anyway. like grace said, everyone deserves good treatment at the dentist regardless of their conduct, so judging or changing your behavior for a client with a better rating wouldn’t be respectful at all

as you said, you’re one of the only clients who comes back regularly. that puts you in the minority group (abt 10%) while most people only visit once. because of that, I think it’s unlikely this would work out. hope that makes sense!!😓

Sorry but I disagree! Clients don’t need ratings as they aren’t required to act a certain way and rating clients wouldn’t really benefit the game, it would be kind of unnecessary. It could also scare away other clients and the game would get dry easily. Otherwise, if you have an issue with a client that is rude or refuses to follow your instructions, you should cancel their appointment and call an MR+.
