Like Lucia said it’s been suggested a lot. @prisma arrow made a suggestion about OS refresher trainings. I think OS was removed from trainings as it was too busy and it takes up the spaces for trainees in trainings.

reason they used to exist was because they were actually benefitial in trainings

they arent anymore

i mean unless you wanna stand behind a trainer, answer maybe like 1 PTS and just cause more of a distraction then you can to help then sure? 😭

they never were benefitial to anyone, as someone whos both supervised as an os and trained with os supervisors! the whole selection process causes un-needed conflict, takes too long, adds another layer of stress onto the situation, etc. during the session its not like os were doing anything that the trainers cant do yk? i feel like it made a simple training soo complicated! BUT i do think for funzies os should be able to get trained like to refresh on stuff yk?

this has been suggested many times. staffing said this won’t be implemented, and i agree. os are not needed, all they used to do can be be done by mrs.

I disagree, takes up space for trainers, I remember being so sad that I couldn’t get in, and as well as other oral surgeons potentially getting mad that they couldn’t get in.
