adding onto this because it was too many characters

so those are just the 3 main keys i wanted to bring attention to. on 2 i understand it’s not staffing itself making all these implentions its the HR team as a group all together but they are the ones that basically have the final say! i’ve seen so many amazing suggestions here that i think have so much potential to be added, yet no staffing or dev really acknowledges it and that can be frustrating for many!! considering we had a problem with LR and MR/HR disconnection a couple months ago, this doesn’t really help that nobody really acknowledges their suggestions!! the main point of this suggestion was to spread a little awareness about also acknowledging the suggestions LRs make and trying them out or giving explanations on why they can’t be added!

I agree since people rarely respond to suggestions or even look at them

I agree. It’s better if we get updates on our suggestions from a rank that can actually decide whether or not it’s a good idea and if they will add it. The only con that I think may be an issue is that when it comes to Developers deciding it would take quite a while for them to go through each individual message and then choosing if they will consider it or not.

Tbh I completely see where you’re coming from and I think a lot of people can relate to this. Suggestions are a huge part of the community and it makes sense to want more transparency about what happens to them after they gain a lot of support.

That being said, while it might seem like suggestions are ignored, but from what I understand, they are definitely being read just not always by the people you’d expect. Developers don’t necessarily go through every suggestion unless they’re specifically looking for ideas, which is something Jimmy has mentioned before. However, that doesn’t mean the rest of the team isn’t paying as much attention. PR and Staffing do take note of what’s being said, even if they don’t always respond directly. This has also been stated by Staffing and PR before and I apologize if I may seem like I’m speaking for them, but they have stated that they pay attention to suggestions, even if they don’t comment on them

At the end of the day, the communication side of things could be improved, but it’s not that suggestions are being ignored entirelyalienpurple

I completely agree with you but just like Aubri said, they do definitely take note of the suggestions even if they don’t directly respond. Some more acknowledgment would be awesome as LR/MR/HR disconnection is a recent issue we’ve had and I would not like it to grow even bigger. With that being said, I would personally appreciate if they did comment a bit more on the posts although I understand it’s not their main concern. I do love your point though as I would love to see some opinions from HRs as well considering they have more knowledge regarding this stuff than anyone. Therefore, getting some input from them would be greatly beneficial! z_heart_pulse

^^ what aubri said about the devs! their team has not many people so they arent always able to comment on every suggestion, and unless its something theyre looking on implementing it probably wouldnt be their top priority.

honestly i dont see many suggestions at all thats staffing-related. a lot of the suggestions are about in game things, new roles in discord, etc. when we do come across something we may be able to help with, personally i always try to comment on them and see if it'd be possible for us to do, but it's just not common to see one

yeah i totally get that, and i’m aware they probably do read them even if they don’t reply i’m a tad confused on how you would know if their being read by staffing or not? could you enlighten me on that part please. i also understand completely devs are not going through suggestions daily and point 2 was mainly about staffing not really devs like the main point was staffing but i also see where your coming from!! i think a lot of people would just appreciate some more visible engagement or acknowledgment from staffing every now and then, even if it’s just a simple ‘we’ve taken note of this’ or explaining why certain things can’t be added. i get they’re busy and working behind the scenes, but transparency and communication goes a long way!! my main point wasn’t “ hrs reading suggestions!! “ it was “ hrs commenting on suggestions “ and like i said it was staffing acknowledging suggestions or giving explanations why they can’t be added :))
thanks for your feedback!

I don’t have direct proof that staffing is reading all the suggestions, but from what I’ve HEARD, they do keep track of them in some way. I’ve seen Staffing and PR mention that they pay attention to the suggestions, even if they don’t always respond in the channel

I agree with the point that it would be nice to see more visible engagement from them, even if it’s just a quick acknowledgment or explanation. it could definitely make a difference in how people feel about their feedback being heard!

i always check suggestions, however not many really apply to pr or ones that i can push forward! we do always bring up things we like and try to implement if theres a suggestion we like, however we cannot do too much as most of the suggestions fall under development or ownership!
