TSAs should step in and assist rather than just supervise when staff is low. I once witnessed six TSAs standing by while only three staff members struggled to manage the entire workload. Whether this is a common occurrence or not, it highlights a critical issue—staffing shortages shouldn’t mean a heavier burden on a few while others remain idle. A change is needed to ensure fairness, efficiency, and a better work environment for everyone.

Well TSA can do appointments but they’re supposed to be supervising especially while being a tsa.
It's a suggestion for when staff is low. Maybe TSA training could include a guideline that encourages them to step in and assist when staffing is low.
so sometimes they cant but im sure that they will step in when necessary, and be sure to bring it up with them respectfully if you notice something 💕
i have seen TSA help out with appointments when staff is low though. so its not that they aren't allowed to. but I get the frustration
There’s kinda a thing implemented on that already so its really tsa choice if they help out or not
