SEPERATE FORMER TSA

So I feel like every TSA batch results, we see that around a half or more of the passers are formers. If someone applies, fails and sees that lots of the passers have been MR+ before, it may be a bit disheartening. Instead, we could have a separate former application for those who want to comeback to Teethyz.

This would help the LRs so much in my opinion.

I don’t think it’s needed or necessary, TSA is at the end of the day a trial role, trying to see if you as an oral surgeon are fit to move up to Staff assistant. It doesn’t do anything to clarify you were formerly on trial. You aren’t really a former either. 😭

If you werent picked its not cause you arent a former its cause your application wasnt good

A lot factors into TSA, you gotta be trusted to become a MR

You didnt fail cause youre not a former you failed cause you didnt have all those factors in your application

disagree on how this would go down but agree that almost every time there are more former over actual os aspiring to be an mr. i dont think that os should be getting the chance to become a tsa and i feel it is a big unfair because ofc they are formers, know how everything goes down, etc. i think staffing should just be more aware about who they pick.

i don't see them saying "oh lol theyre not a former, skip!"

and you don't know what apps look like either, there could very well just be not many great applications from non-formers

thats not what im saying sorry if it was worded weird but like i meant that there are alot of formers getting picked and ofc if they are working hard i agree they should but from my perspective and alot of others, there are alot of hard working os. im not saying that what im saying is that alot of os do deserve it. im not saying that a former does hold the qualities that a tsa has..

not all fomers pass bc they were mrs they pass bc they had a good application and if u failed it means it wasnt good enough or didnt complete the requirements or something

there are a lot of OS that seem hardworking that just dont have the knowledge for MR

it just so happens that formers pass because they alreayd have that knowledge

there are also alot of os that are the opposite. yes formers do have alot of the information and stuff, i am a former and an am. i totally understand but there are alot more formers gettin gin tsa and i agree that they do have more knowledge as they have been an mr before, but the whole point of trial staff assistant is for os to trial their staff assistant abilities, yk? sorry if this is rude and i mostly agree with you im just offering a different view point

I don’t think clarifying that you were formally a trial staff assistant adds to anything though

It’s just extra and not necessary in the first place it’s not like TSA is an actual role

There’s already a section for why you should come back if you’re a former in the TSA application. I see no point in this whatsoever

i disagree with this bc they should all have the basic knowledge needed to become an mr, and idrk how they pick obviously but everyone does get a chance, and just because formers have more knowledge doesnt mean os arent provided with resources to learn protocol!!

hi guys, i get the idea behind the suggestion and yes i will agree a lot of our passing are formers. however coming from someone who literally reads the applications - formers are not favourited and everyone is given a completely fair chance. everyone receives the same form, every form is read, and us staffing officers know what is worthy of passing and what is not. i just feel that having a seperate form would make tsa somewhat bias as not everyone is being given the same application. without a doubt there are very hardworking os who aspire to be mr, and there are also formers who benefit the team greatly- but at the end of the day we assess all applications; former or not and not in a bias or favoured way at all
