nah, the mod team was nice but it’s not needed really. SA’s don’t have commands rn but if they need someone to come kick or ban, it takes 10 seconds to call for someone and they always come quickly.

mods wouldn’t necessarily fix this problem though. when lr’s report in report center, it’s taken care of almost immediately. the only time something like this happens is when they don’t ping

i’m not against it but i just don’t think it’d be life changing either way

eh mods wouldn’t be game changing. they have lives too and wouldn’t make much of a difference besides that they have admin, but at that point just increase MR count. 🤷🏻‍♀️

i think mods could be helpful bc it would be more ppl that had admin in game. back when i was an mr here, the mod team was super helpful esp at late hours of night because they could pban and since their jobs are only shifting/moderating, they focus more on the dentist which is great while most MRs are at trainings. some people also would rather focus on shifting in game and not worry about being required to go to trainings so it could be an opportunity for those. from my experience here, mrs barely had any admin commands until you were like an OM and it was really frustrating when no other OM+ were online and available to come ban.

there’s no point if they could just increase the mr count. they already made it clear that it’s not coming back and have good points as to why.

From a former HR perspective I think that bringing back the moderation team is pointless. As many others have said, MRs are constantly being promoted and alongside that people are getting promoted to MR frequently. Whilst SAs don't have admin they have channels that they can ask for support on, as well as #report-center, in addition considering the amount of MR+ the average waiting time for an admin would only take around 5 mins. I think the right thing that should have happened to the moderation team is to just make it discord based only, in contrast to deleting the whole moderation server ect ect. I loved the mod team, one of my best friends was an intern directer and will always hold a special place in my heart. But I think Dany and the SHRs have stated that the moderation team won't come back and was only really introduced due to desperate measures, and if it was to come back that would most likely be the reason why.

no you have good points there i think with the discord admin its only hrs that have admin unless thats changed but we have discord mods now and i do agree but the hrs will never agree with bringing the department back they will just increase rank limits and promote people, too much effort and quite frankly they are lazy. but to bring it back now would be silly unless there is a desperate need for it. i didnt agree w removing it in the first place but it doesnt seem that bad now its gone, however i was never a mod so i wouldnt know the perspective of u guys and how it effected u

I somewhat agree that if they were added now they wouldnt serve much purpose but marina has a really good point, the groups growing and MR+ will most likely resign because of school etc etc, we have seen about 3-5 resignations in the past 2 days.

so many MRs have resigned the past month and even more will resign, more MRs will be added cause TSA and all that but I think that mods would be helpful in situations where a lot of MRs resign

this is worded perfectly—i’ve always been saying that SAs should get like the “moderator” level admin bc mods went through a trial and had “administrator” levels and if SAs go through a trial and get nothing it’s kinda disappointing and hard to find motivation to meet shifting reqs bc you’re constantly just having to call higher ranks down to the dentist to help you and you feel useless
