System design/how applications are architected, cloud basics, API understanding, willingness to learn, being language agnostic are some important points in my opinion

Nah get it now I understood it wrong at the beginning
Like infrastructure (what is needed, how it communicates, what each part does, etc)
https://sre.google/books/ also these books are great, I think SWEs should understand devops personally. I’ve worked with too many SWEs who don’t understand these things and it’ll make you stand out.
