  1. Which sounds better: "Improved article uploading performance by up to 23x using ..." or "Decreased article uploading time by up to 23x using ..."? This is the first point for my first job on my resume btw.
  2. "Performed PostgreSQL database migrations using pure SQL and Sequelize". Should I keep the "pure" to highlight I had to write pure sql queries or is it obvious what I mean?

“by up to” i would just say “by”

#

i would say decreased article upload time by 23% using

#

“pure” vs not using pure isnt really important, can have it or not

Ok great, thanks! and one more sort of unrelated question, but does it matter how small my margins get (as long as it still looks good and is not completely stretched out?) My top and bottom margins are 1.7cm compared to the usual 2.54cm, and it still looks decent, but just worried that some ATS might cut off the edges or something?

idk what it looks like and can’t visualize measurements in my head but it should be fine probably

and the range is 13x to 23x, should I still just say by instead of by up to?

By 20 times sounds good to me - the average number. “By” is a bit better than “by up to” IMO

Personally I would go with “improved”
