I recently posted about a EE role but I got another offer from a place doing JS + Python while the EE role does C/C++/C#. If anyone could offer some insight into how taking either of these roles may affect me applying for new grad roles next year I would really appreciate it. My goal, interesting work and difficulty being equal, is to take a career path that will let me earn more money and advance more into the field, I suppose that means FAANG. Would one of the two be more amenable to this? I keep reading online that EE doesn't offer quite as much as other roles.
#Frontend + Backend vs Embedded SWE internships

knowing C and C++ is not a bad skill to have
its also just an internship it doesnt affect the rest of your career by any means
and plenty of FAANG companies use C++ if thats your goal then i don't think it will be something that holds you back if you took an internship in that space
you should just take whatever roles interest you
its all software
i knew i would never want to do webdev and so i didnt look for those roles as a new grad, and so far it hasnt hurt me at all
Thanks so much for your responses!
if ur interested in quant firms since you said money, take embedded and improve ur c and c++ and low level knowledge as much as possible during the internship
