Hello!
I'll start by saying all I want is a job to pay the bills that isn't being a SWE (ideally, coding makes me depressed) and to move out, but the only way I'm allowed to move out is if I get a job in my field. I'm not allowed to get a job otherwise (I'm fully aware this is unreasonable and would otherwise be willing to get any other job as all jobs are dignified). I graduated in November with a BSc Computer Science and haven't been getting any offers. I've been getting some interviews and coding challenges, though! I've mainly been applying to data roles, but I'm considering jumping into IT if that's easier.
I have no technical experience (I've only been a barista) and only my Bachelor's. I was considering going for the CompTIA A+ and one of the CCNA or Network+ and applying for IT jobs. I wanted to know if this would be a good next step for me or if I should keep going for data jobs. I'm unsure how good the market for helpdesk/technical support is right now, but I genuinely just want to leave and am looking for the fastest way to do that. Thank you for any advice!
