So i am a 2nd year university student and i will finish my CS degree in 1 year and 4 months (at the end of the spring semester next year). I learned java from my university (currently taking data structure and algorithm in java which is the last java focused course in my university) and i learned python by myself. i know how bad the market is and i am currently lost in what field i should enter and what framework should i learn.
i can either go the python route where i will learn data structures in python alongside the java one then learn flask/django then head towards AI and ML related stuff or i can head the java route where i would skip DSA(since the university is teaching it to me) and jump into springboot. or if you have any alternative routes then i dont mind listening.
i am not sure if it is still early for me to worry about the current industry since i cant see it get any better next year but i am planning to make a mega project this summer and put in the work no matter what then start applying to internships in my senior year (i will basically pray that i will get accepted in an internship).
what route do you guys think is wiser for me to take and learn during the 1 year and 4 months that i have? (4 months of this 1 year and 4 months is basically a summer break so i will have the time to study and make projects/leetcode during the summer if i don't do some unrelated part-time job and i would also appreciate any other advice).
