Could you negotiate on the tech stack? Especially as they seem to not have a dedicated engineering team besides the data engineer; surely this would allow some flexibility. Besides that, only 2 weeks project (or you meant 2 year)? How long have you been applying for?
I also think its beneficial to start contributing to open source projects you find interesting, or create your own project which solves a problem you or others experience; both of these will look good in a resume and probably a better route for career progression & long term; If you can do this AND the job; then perhaps you should take it otherwise if you're disciplined enough to work on projects + leetcode grind then you should keep looking and you'll end up with a more relevant company (junior, grad role).
Keep in mind, the job market imo for SENGs is terrible now, career progression is the main factor since full time work takes nearly all your time, you mentioned WordPress but anything else? i.e. backend, cloud, etc. Or are you hired purely as a wordpress dev? Is it a startup?
