This is my friend's account, I am writing on his account because I'm banned from the server. I'm a Junior in University that's starting to look for new grad roles and I would greatly appreciate being able to be inside this community and communicate with others.
The reason I got banned is because I was looking at the resumes in the resume review section and DM'ing the individuals sending them, telling them about the product I'm working on. I see in the rules that this is deemed as self-advertisement, and in hindsight it for sure is, but at the time I didn't see it as that and purely just saw it as me DM'ing other CS majors about the product I'm working on and would love some feedback (Wasn't just sending them a random course or anything like that). What I did was 100% wrong, shouldn't have just been DM'ing people about my product and advertising like that.
As I said, I would love to come back to the server, and if that is alright, I can give my actual account username and proof if you need it I'm actually looking to find new grad roles and be in this community and not just advertise in the future.
