#Unemployed 2023 Grad with No SWE Job Experience

only thing i personally would say is to start the bullets with the strong action verbs like u do for the majority of the bullet points. Some of ur bullet points start with “A”, i would change to a strong action verb
otherwise not a bad resume. Do you have any volunteering, clubs, hackathons, or leadership experience?
that is a good point thanks, I may change it
someone else told me this as well so I guess that is a sign I should change it lol
Embarrassingly no, I do have some other internship experience since my last degree was a co-op program, but the only applicable one was the 2018 project coordinator one where I did QA work so I added that one. And I added the sales operations one since D2L is a well known tech company in Canada and I felt that it showed commitment since I worked there for a while and they gave me a fulltime offer.
I wish I did a hackathon though, but most of them were online throughout my CS degree so I avoided them.
btw assuming you work as an SWE, do you think it would be beneficial to have a fullstack project using MERN? I know people say projects aren't that important, but since I don't have any SWE job experience, its all I can do lol
@tardy tree btw, do you think I should put job experience before projects or is projects first fine since my current job experience isn't applicable?
i mean sure.. its not gonna harm u
the latter
bump
Did you update your resume?
good point, I did, but just the changing the first project points to use an action verb so nothing major. Will post when im in my computer
