Hi all, I just got a return offer from my whole year internship for $80k/year in the DMV area (US). I did some research and saw that the average should be about $85k - $95k in this area for entry level. Should I negotiate or just accept it? Thanks🙌

Agree negotiating is good just to get practice. There's a negotiation tutorial by the levels fyi founder on YouTube, good to watch before starting negotiatoon

My first role was in DMV area in 2020 and I made 85k base salary @lean crown

yeah, I saw the data from that time and pretty sure mine was low. BTW, it's remote work and I will accept something 85 to 95k (like 15k lower than other because I dont have to travel ), is it good?

just fyi, I have been working for them 1 year as an intern but I contributed some features to production product and got very good feedback from manager + team
