I'm looking for a data engineering role. I'm not good at writing CVs for industry. Please let me know what I can do to be a better candidate.

since it looks like u have 8 YOE or whatever, ur resume can be 2 pages . but that first page is just completely unnecessary

doesnt even look like u need 2 pages based on the content

i havent read the bullet points but the ones in ur recent experience are a little long as well

Was research scientist within your university? For five years of work the bullets don’t seem noticeable.

Was the five months as data scientist a contract?

They graduated 2017, I don't know that 8 years is justifiable especially for the kinds of jobs they're looking for now.
