One other small factor is that I'll get a "senior" title in November, but I figure that's kind of BS / placation from current company rather than something that will do my resume a ton of good... Maybe I'm off-base there though!

I guess I'm mostly concerned about hopping to a small role without as much end-user / scaling work... I suppose I'm under the impression that BE work without that isn't really what future employers will look for?

The higher the company the more systematic it is and the more you learn in early stages until you can be independent and startups will teach you more.
