… to redesign nonprofit website for user experience…
- what languages/tech did you use to redesign the website?
the projects section looks a mess haha
are u looking for swe positions or what?
it was basic html/css, but i was put to mostly work on figma stuff. i'm trying to word it so its more related to things like AGILE methodolgy to pass ATS. I'll have a backend swe internship this summer for actual technical stuff, but wanted to improve other parts of my resume beforehand.
yeah, planning to apply for SWE internships next year as sophomore (Explore, STEP, etc)
Was wondering if I should remove the IMC Trading thing, since it wasnt really that big of a project (and my team barely reached T200 for it)
would just consider removing the makerspace technician job
considering half the project hack little to no bullet points with them, i would just include whatever projects u think are the strongest and that u can sctually describe
would remove coursework from skills
remove misc probably and add git/figma to technologies or domethn
should i remove the rocket league bot since it was a yt walkthrough project? i was pretty involved in the trading comp but theres not much I could write about it.
yes remove any walk through tutorials from your projects
are class projects fine? the raycasting engine is a final project for one of my classes, i took it cos it was somewhat related to graphics (which was also the domain of the open source project)
class projects are ok as long as it has some complexity to it 🙂 u dont need to say they were for class either! i had a couple class projects on my resume!
i see, thanks! i was wondering if i should push my open source involvement to the top of my projects section, cos thats the one i have the most to talk about (but started much earlier than the rest of these projects)
