#Mid Size Startup v Home Depot Internshio

Looks better to recruiters when applying to other jobs in the future
more so depends on what u did
what u do*
in the internship
dont think either option will make a recruiter go “WOWWW!!” based off name alone
its also just an internship so not a hugeee deal
just focus on learning a lot
can also consider the type of work you will be doing
home depot may have a more established internship program so it MIGHT be better for learning overall and having proper mentorship and what not. On the otherhand, the startup MIGHT be doing work you may be more interested in but the internship part MIGHT lack direction/proper structure and thus leaving you to learn improper programming practices
Thanks for the input! I interned at Home Depot last year and felt it wasn't great for learning. Definitely more to learn at the startup, the talent there is good. Just don't want employers to think that I basically did nothing for a summer because it's a smaller company
i dont really think that logic tracks all the way haha “did nothing because it was a small company”
