I’m starting a computer science degree soon but the main language we will use is java
try taking a computer graphics course and learn OpenGL or DirectX development
I have done OpenGL before and it definitely will need C++ knowledge as well as shader scripts (looks similar to C++ but it is different).
I’m learning it with learnopengl.com rn
nice, tbh that site looks a lot more practical than the ones I took at university
interestingly that is the site my university has us use, they want us to read the chapter every week and build projects to submit
learn c# and make games on Unity
Get a B.S. in Computer Science, get a job at a small game company, then get enough experience to work at a bigger company.
