I have almost a year gap (1 week away) but I was volunteering at a meditation center for most of the time. But is that too religious/culty for people? Or is it better at least than an unexplainable gap?
(I wrote college-educated in the summary because I have an incomplete associates degree. I have a 21 credit technical degree but I don't really know that that counts as a college degree)
And in case it doesn't go without saying - this is a section of my entire resume. It's not my entire resume.

i dont know if it would be considered.. experience? per se
also the summary doesnt really say anything that im sure a recruiter wouldnt find out 2seconds after reading said summary

i personally think just leave it off and if somebody asks then just say i took time away to focus on myself and volunteer 🤷🏽♀️
unfortunately some people MIGHT find it “too religious/culty” mainly cus they may not know what it is and may bring up more questions than answers
also the gap really isnt that long and its really not… like too surprising in this day and age with everything going on to have a gap

Yes but I can't really say much of what I did because it was a new industry for me and all the business logic was accomplished with sql
