How many interviews have you gotten, out of how many applications?

#

And what sort of positions are you applying to? (Like what is the job description?)

I’m curious on this thread since I’m on the same boat, graduated in May, 2022. I’ve applied everywhere and I’m facing the same type of results. I’m also near the NYC metro area.

Is your thread on resume review updated? I can check that out again

#

Sure.

#

My personal opinion, but I feel like the results from 100 applications are so are generally a good indicator of what needs to be changed

#

Or rather what part of the process you're stuck at, that was worded badly

I assume you never ended up posting

@tender river hi so any updates? Have you had any success with the resume changes? Thanks man.

#

I see. @tender river At least it’s not an isolated thing, it could be the market shift. 🤷🏽‍♂️

How many apps do you put out in a week?

You can put out way more than that

#

How many hours are you spending per day on this?

Have you considered not applying? Since the applying thing isn't working, maybe don't, and try to make an in-person connection with people instead. In NYC there should be plenty of meetups to go and talk with (hopefully) employed people about how you too can contribute, or you can network with peers and commiserate.

I don't understand how you spend an hour a day and somehow also get thru 40-60 applications. How do you know you aren't making spelling mistakes? This is some machine-level work! But if it's not working I'd suggest trying a different approach. And ... NYC, big city, many people, you're there to make connections you couldn't make in whatever backwater farm town you came from.

I hope this hash fellow is joking btw...
