#Help with the latex Awesome-cv formatting

I'm into that idea too... but tried it and the right side needs to be shorter... anything that is too long overflows into the margin AND causes spacing on the left side. As you can see in photos, full url causes issues - shorten it and it's fine.
thats why i said to hyperlink it
That wouldn't change the size of it... the url is the url. I don't want to put CLICK HERE and link that - if printed they don't get the URL.
but either way, I'm not getting it to work. the command /url just results in errors. trying to use this documentation: https://www.overleaf.com/learn/latex/Hyperlinks#Linking_web_addresses
I'm sure I just have to read a lot more about latex. First time being exposed to it and everything seemingly rather simple is not the case. Even just my name at the top: The template had first name as skinny text and last name as bold. I went and found where to just use last name styling on first name - but could never find where that styling lives to just change the first name styling to match last name.
