#My degree program offers an undergraduate certification in cybersecurity. Is this worth pursuing?

yes
but I have no work xp in it at this time. I do work for a company with a strong cyber team and I want to switch
In that case, maybe. I know that there are industry standard certs that seem to be asked pretty often though, so maybe those might be more recognizable vs. a cert from your college.
Admittedly I don't have much domain knowledge in this area.
yeah I'm not sure what to do. I've gotten this far in my program so an extra 4 classes could be worth it if it does pay off. But I also see there is a better ranked school that offers an advanced cybersecurity cert for wayyyy less money.
Edit: I am going to just graduate and move on. I have +7 years in data.
If you can just pivot horizontally into the role, that would probably be for the best
