it wasnt no, it was point based
you lose all balloons, you lose 50% points and respawn
which is bad, nobody can tell me they prefer this over e.g. DS balloonfight
it seems in mkw it's still point based overall but if you lose all six of your balloons you're eliminated
holy shit eliminated for good again? That'd be a huge change for me lol
(I think it was also possible in Double Dash, but don't quote me on that)
yes yes yes yes
it would be so cool
This is exactly how I'd imagine them to do DLC yes yes yes
if its going to be like that then i'd expect them to do it similar to BCP where it happens several years after release
so like
not until 2030 at least
that's a ton of work unless it was like two tiny islands with one course on each of them
like the example in those pictures basically doubles the map size so you're essentially making Mario Kart World 1.5
Don't worry, all of this will just be included in the be Mario Kart World: Nintendo Switch 3 Edition for 139,99€ for the Nintendo Switch 3 launching at 999,99€ in 2038
Nintendo hire this man
Realistically, if a dlc were to happen, i think it would only be like four waves at most, I think eight might be too much work
This man thought of everything here. Arranged them by cups very well and they look so natural by default. You can see more ideas on the tweet's replies
It sorta reminds me of that Splatoon 3 project by an artist. It looked really cool that even wished it was real
Well also say, not really a fan of how many empty spaces there are, like turtle island or the big lava area on top. I appreciate the work put into it, but I think it's a bit to much in terms of the layout that just asking for more work
I guess thats fair, although wouldn't empty spaces be also kinda exciting in their own way? I mean exploration is another key point of the game with Free Roam. It wasn't said in the tweet but im guessing they thought new battle arenas too
They also talked about rallies, which im guessing those empty spaces come to play somehow
I think you can plenty of P switch's and little areas between the tracks without the need of creating a big area, as that would take more days to create
