So, uh, I just beat the DLC just a bit ago and.. ||the mad lad did it. He made a solid canon connection to Xenosaga and actually made X canon to the main series. So happy we got that. As well as seeing Earth from before Klaus' experiment. That was crazy. And I never in a million years thought that we'd hear "Saviorite" ever again. And the worlds properly merging at the end... so happy we got resolution to the ending of base game. Though, I'm still a bit confused on why Alvis acted the way he did. Like, so the game said he became this way due to the Logos and Pneuma cores being gone. So he should've had that attitude at the end of 1 right? But then we see that the Logos and Pneuma cores are actually intact and reside within N's Sword of the End and Matthew's Ouroboros Knuckles respectively. So why is he still a "heartless machine"? What caused him to come to the conclusion he did? He has all the knowledge of the past yet Na'el didn't and got her mind changed after seeing what happened to Earth. And what happened to Shulk, Rex, and A? Did they die? Did they time travel to Xenoblade X2? And what was that light heading towards the planet? And what on earth are the FogBeasts!? We still don't know where they come from. But, whatever, I'm hyped for Xenoblade 4! I can't wait to see where the series goes from here.||

||I personally think Matthew and Na'el are just the city versions of Cycle Noah and Mio. In other words, I don't think there's any connections to Noah and Mio, other than they are the offspring of N and M. Cycle Noah and Mio are elsewhere in the story, and since none of the city folk are connected to the Cycle, then they just die off and leave offspring of their own. So it leads to the city folk that main-game Noah and the party encounter. Perhaps the rest of the party members like Pancea and Linka went on to find houses, like Shulk and Rex did? Also, Glimmer and Nikol maybe started houses in honor of Shulk and Rex, since it was they who instilled the motivation to forge a future into them!||

If you just want to know: || When the two worlds were communicating, they made a plan to build Origin. As part of that plan, everyone would be "saved" to Origin as data and then once the worlds combined Origin would start up and bring them all back. However, since Z froze time the start never occurred - meaning everyone is still in Origin, save for a few key people. While the reason as to why certain people like Shulk / Rex were outside of Origin, it is not entirely explained but they do speculate it may have something to do with a role for them to fulfill. ||

Guess who started and just finished the DLC 4 months late
Anyway, I think this was a great DLC. It finally gave the last piece of lore that we needed.
Honestly, them saying they won't do anymore games in the Xenoblade universe makes a lot more sense now. This game and its DLC is a great conclusion to it all

Well, it's true that they could make a new story in the same universe, but I don't think it will be about (spoilers for XC3, its DLC and the entire series ig) ||the creation of new universes anymore. It was made clear that Klaus split the universe in two, those two worlds got merged again, with Alpha wanting to create a new world from it and Moebius wanting the endless now. But then those two factions got defeated and we're back to two worlds again. At the end of XC3, Noah and Mio said they'll meet again, but I don't know how or who would be able to achieve that, given that all the key characters are gone.||

I've seen a few theories about that, one that I particularly like is that was ||KOS-MOS coming back to Earth at the end of Xenosaga||
