Important for the xenolouge:
From what I can see
You have your entire base game army available
But adjusted for the xenolouge
For eg my endgame team is there with all the rings
But their levels, class and stats change
My diamant isn’t a tanky successor, he’s a lv 15 lord
So definitely you’ll want to save this until postgame/late game
Inherited skills and bond levels are kept

And the xenolouge world map is considered part of the main world map
So doing the story battles are under conditions obv but you can still access your main game team and stuff

||Basically alear is trapped and has no means to defend themself. Will get attacked by long range units while you have to survive via physic staves. Nil has to face Chrom emblem Nel who is basically impossible to beat without support, Nel has a bunch of elixirs in her inventory to ensure survivabiliity at least
Your army starts in the top left corner and have to go around the map to the right side where Nil and Alear are.

There’s a lot of cutscenes and story beats thoigh
If you haven’t beaten the game I’d suggest you do so
