I always hated Wii Rainbow Road, the less I have to play on that track, the better

I started playing after they removed gacha, how was the shop back then?

its just that there were no rubies shop

45 rubies per 10 pulls, out of 100 pulls

if you got lucky, you oculd get 2 or 3 High End things

and they had spotlights characters every season that gave you a chance to get certain parts of high end characters

you were guaranteed to get the spotlights if you emptied the pipe (for which you can pull up to 100 times)

and you could reset the 100 pipes to try and re-get other things if you wanted to

it was really just lots of gamble

you had to be really lucky

and they only gave 4 free pipes in the free pass per season

plus the gold one for finishing all cups

I prefer getting to pick what I want over having to rely on luck

Especially when I can't play ALL the time

Since I already play a bit too much lol

The difference in lighting and shading between Wii DDR and 8DX DDD is crazy so I hope they keep the DDD lighting

This is by far the only desert course I like

I'm worried this will be in the booster course pass and not toad's factory tho

Toad's Factory was one of my most wanted, but I have strong feeling it'll most likely not make it :(

Just the stompers at the beginning and the boxes it seems too unlikely

But I still feel like it could be a banger Tour track

And they both seem like they cover a lot of grounds/circuits

I know that it saves your scores when you play those races in online mode, but it doesn’t give you the rewards as shown on the main “courses select”screen until you either redo the race or finish every single race and unlock the golden pipe for finishing all cups

So that might just be that

If you play online and you beat the scores, it will give you the rewards, just when you reenter the main screen.
The scores also carry on from tour to tour, but the stages are often different, so you don't see it as much.
Like Mario Circuit X is different from Mario Circuit T/R

Even though they look similar

Oh, and of course, to get the rewards you need to play the stage in the tour, whether online or offline

personally, if you hit a NR online, that sweet high score goes towards the online pipe gacha

Apparently there is a way to force a frenzy?

It has happened to me thrice and today I tried to check if it was true

Out of all the times I tried it worked like 4 out of 7-8 times

Anyone with some item tickets to spare can test it?

You need to use a 3 item slot character, then use an item ticket when you're about to reach an item box, so you grab the item box while the roulettes are still spinning

Bear in mind that there's some delay from where you tap the item ticket icon to where the roulette starts spinning, so it may not work due to that

However if you time it correctly you can trigger a frenzy

I have like +200 item tickets lol I never use them

I don't think it's luck, however. Apparently there IS some sort of gimmick that can trigger a frenzy when that happens 🤔

Tour was fun discussing the content now there is no new content what is there to talk about? Especially after the 1 2 punch that is the booster course pack that takes away alot of reasons to play tour.

Don't get my wrong I'm still playing my daily race because I'm a creature of habit and it's fun to get the rest of the characters karts and gliders I'm missing but the "discussion" of tour is kinda limited to me now
