Ok so I just checked and updated one or two items on the list (almost everything I'm doing is still WIP tho)

Tbh I think we should decide soon on some (for now) definitive designs for all entities that have different versions

Because the transition to an alien planet after Level 4 in the original was jarring, so we need a transition level.
And by doing so, we give MAKYUNI's Classic version a head start.

Level 1 to 2 is probably the only one that works, since it transitions to the ocean
So, these are the transitions considering:
Level 1: A desert island at the end of the level
Level 2: Red ocean and volcanoes
Level 3: A distant view of Legume (formerly Colossatropolis)
Level 4: Probably a space station at the end of the level...
Level 5 (new level, space): The alien planet getting closer
I also don't think if it's possible to add a rocky sphere (the alien planet) in 3D globe model.
We should wait for the new update that lets us customize our own path in the globe.
We should stick to 5 levels for the time being.
If only we could customize our own path and points in the globe...
There's also no way to add the shield power-up.
5 levels is already a pretty long campaign I think

I do think that with all of the new ideas we're coming up with, it's kind of a shame we're constrained just to Platypus 2
so perhaps we could do some bonus levels after the base mod is all done

There's also no way to code weapon types like Type-1, Type-2, Type-3 or Type-4.
I thought the shield powerup should just add the shield that Plover gets

I think this is the direction to go, with missile squid being a purple recolor with a thinner barrel.
A couple of months back, I made their legs as big as their body and personally liked that look more.

I see. I think they looked fine in Platypus 2, just that the legs were too tiny, so I used bigger ones. But that's just my opinion, ofc. Whatever most prefer is the way to go.

Apparently, it's the longass length that made the laser fail to load hitbox.

Originally, it was around 5000 pixels, but ever since I reduced its length down to 4000 pixels, it finally worked.
It's as long as the lightning sprite, so that's a bit odd
but either way, great to see it in action

While testing, I found a bizzare bug regarding the green fish sometimes not taking any hit, but could still be rammed into.
I think it might have something to do with the self.defaultOnHitByBulletBehaviour = false of the custom laser.

Anyway, I think I managed to fix the issue.
You have a great attention to detail as always 
By this point, self.defaultOnHitByBulletBehaviour = true should always be present across most Lua enemies.

• Vanilla Red Ones
• Yellow Jumpers
• Blue Horseshoes
And no more, imo.
And the blue ones could use a distinct behaviour.

So instead of a fish behaviour homing in on the player, they instead want to try and survive getting hit to be able to shoot the player ship.
Kind of like a "scaredy" enemy lol.
Or like some plants in Plants vs. Zombies that will not shoot if the zombie is too close.

Slowing down sounds good! In Feeding Frenzy there is an inkfish that release its ink when the player fish gets flose to it and the ink makes the player dizzy, for example.

The exiled president sends an alien attack (NUX) or a Colossotropolan revenge attack (NUXLESS) from the moon.
So the former would be like the president allies itself with the aliens.
Alright, now come to think of it, as I get more involved with the project, the aliens start to grow on me, albeit slowly and steadily. :3
I remember (if correctly) Geio and Makyuni, perhaps others once talking about how a transition to the outter world and Level 5 being on a separate planet would make more sense, for example.
Geio even made a sketch of the worldmap transitioning to a NUX planet.

cuz the transition from level 1 - 2 had 7 frames, but level 4-5 only had 5 frames

Hyper Spinner
Slowly spins at first, but slowly spins faster and flies around.
When it spins faster, it shoots a volley of bullets before spinning back slowly.
It's similar to the spinning enemies from Cosmic/Water Bugs.

Level 5 Area 3 would have an Asteroid Field.
Just like how Platypus Reclayed Level 5 Area 3 has a Minefield.
Unlike volcanic rocks, asteroids can be destroyed.
