@old star for you
ehehehehe, would be quite a good DE4
@lost cargo there is a model of them that is nice now?
Tuga? 🇵🇹 💪
aye, but in my case don't do real life models because of too much pain to do it accurate, game is also quite limited for it. For a heavy shunter that had idea to do in future it would basically copy format of 1400 but with performance and size to fit the theme
wwiz is other tuga and ptpunk is a intercity train driver
Yea, I wasn´t suggesting a full realistic model, knowing the game is limited for that. But at least the general format and the sound would be amazing to have in DV.
Also nice to know there are other PT's in DV 🙂
I have one that was made by chance. And in previous versions of the DV, it was in the game.
so update to now would be required, simulation stuff becomes a lot easier if one has access to service manuals or anything else that has detailed spec of equipment
You also got sounds for him?
I can try look for service manuals etc. if i cant find anything I know a few CP Engineers I can try talk to
yes, with all sound, horn, start, shutdown and motor
This is a loco I really want so if you need anything about implementation, just say it.
all(?) the tugas want 1400🤣
Because it's awesome 👌
Tuga Valley soon
fits with derail valley, both eastern european countries
And also in age of material itself🥶
wondering how good 1400 shunting will be, guessing it should be quite good since he is so tall
It's good heavy shunter...at least back in the day in trainz 02 it was. And from a trip I did years ago with an engineer friend of mine. In the cab has good visibility at distance. Just gets a bit tricky on close specially when facing the engine side. But once you get it's reference points, becomes easy
tsssh, "engineer", DRIVER CARALHO😂
Unless he is brit and designed locomotive, but that seems unlikely since they are probably most dead
nao e driver nao senhor...
Machinist
for diesel locomotives the one i am most interested is in 1900 then euro 4001, even though they are basically a american locomotive
Heavy shunter is obvious 1400 (guessing 1200 is the forgotten one)
Light shunter unsure, never saw one in real life so, meh
Engineer\Machinist (This depends where you ask USA\UK, but in English is never driver the proper term).
Quando tentares corrigir alguém primeiro verifica os factos, antes de o fazer
"engineer" isn't what UIC uses for name😜
That doesn't tell me anything worthy tho.
Facts are facts, and there are no arguments vs them.
Driver (in the rail industry) is more of a popular term, rather than the actual term that should be used. People say driver, due to the fact the terms Engineer and Machinist are also used in other fields of work, for someone outside the rail industry or someone without knowledge about it, it can be confusing to them.
I have the 1200 too. With no cab. And 1960.
Only now i saw this message, because that back and forth lol
Yes the 1200 I actually forgot about that one.
1960? The Bombardier one?
Yup essa mesmo
portugal valley🤔
I might need help later, because I don't remember much about the editor anymore. At least, I don't know how to get the controls and sounds working.
wiz will be the right person for that, my capabilities will be limited to electric stuff help
Now a thing that am still thinking...............how would a renovated 1400 be? If it even makes sense for that to happen
What do you mean? as in modernized?
a bit like what was done to 2100 to become 2240
eh probably would kill the charm the 1400 has. The "aura" of it (like the kidos nowadays say)
probably better than not having anything
Camionetes de Portugal🥶
but he has the 1400 pretty much modeled from what ive seen, tho
schindlers were also other really nice renewal, a bit on touristic side but they are certainly way more comfortable than 592
Could do that renewed version as a extra, but actually determining what it would be, looks to me like a struggle. The EMUs went all to AC motor think which is obvious thing for the time. HR has their version of 1200 that they renovated with more powerful engine, new cabin, control equipment, can't remember if motors are also new too
also not to mention, too much facelift on the trains to be more "modern", wont fit the atmosphere of DVRT either
renovating something old doesn't look that outside
well im speaking based on the example you gave me of the 2100 to 2240, if you mean the insides, engine, etc etc, then thats diferent and i agree on renovating that part! I was speaking purely on the outside modernization
I have too XD
The 592s?
The only update for the 1400 was replacing the headlights with LEDs. Otherwise, it's the same.
