The only issue with this is the fact we don’t really have modern face models that aren’t (very creepy..)

You could probably either buy existing models or commission them
Plenty of the modelers who do items for trainz and such I’m sure you could buy the files
It’s just that if you can’t move the eyes then they just look alittle creepy
Although then you’d just have to have options for like the basic four of up down left and right

It’s arguably the same practice as for what trainz modelers did back when there were only 2D faces
I just don’t know how you’d transfer that into say the car changer mod

If you’re really after this then again I’d just go see about Buying the files and of course obtaining permission from a modeler on twitter or something
Like Unhelpful Git or the team as Sudriam Industries
Then with those blender files, creating eye varients for one face
Then seeing about permission and help for injecting them into the car changer
Given as we already have smokebox replacements

sticking my two cents in here because I can

ill love a mod that puts a face on the train and makes the eyes move and makes the mouth moves so when the train crashes and well we know they always do the damage on the train could be tell by the face and the mouth
maybe have a face likr this too
or the way the train is turning the eyes will ook that way
