#S282 tender arrangement looking like the picture

It wouldn't really make sense imo for it to have 4 axles like that though.
It's too large of a tender for a design like that anyway, plus the articulation of the bogeys needs to be done so the tender can actually turn around some of the corners on the map
I should've been more specific, it doesn't need to have exactly 4 wheels, it just needs to have that general arrangement
Also isn't the tender of the S282 around the same size as the one the A4 pacifics had?
Or am I mistaken
Not even close
The tender is longer than the A3/A4's tender by about another I want to say almost 10 feet? It's an oldschool american style tender that the NYC were using for a while.
You pulled that size from wikipedia or a book?
I also just woke up
From measuring the diagrams.
Where is the diagram for the 282?
That I know from the ingame value.
Wtf
The S282 is super small.
Park it next to a DE2 and you'll see what I mean.
Also, contributing to the illusion, the tender wheels are just 0.92m, while the A4's tender wheels are 1.27m.
Say what you want but I still think it doesn't look right.
Coupled, the S282 and an A4 have 0.5m length difference.
I'd need a proper screenshot instead of stitched wiki images but it's more or less this.
They have the same height BTW.
bro getting a streamlined s282 modification would be cool
sorry to steal ur pic there but something like this
probably should have just overlayed the full thender and streched it to make it fit the same length
where all 4 axles flanged or where there ones made with flangeless
