Those are indeed the kind of sounds i'd like to not hear anymore, do you think you can mod them out?
Negative (Learning), But the above info would be useful to someone who can help.
Thanks, this is already a step in the right direction as i have had questions before about what sounds i'm refering to.
more sounds may exist, that sound similar, for example:
(all have 'kids' in name)
Those are not a problem for me, it's really the sound a baby's voice that triggers an angry reaction to those who have misophonia. Children in general are ok but babies really strike a nerve...
understood
I'd start by looking at EnvironmentSoundSystem in Assembly-csharp.dll DV.Audio namespace.
Check what's in ambianceLoops, if you can identify the sounds programmatically (by name), you could possibly set the corresponding index in ambianceTargetVolumes to 0 to mute it.
The other place to look would be EnvironmentSoundZone in EnvironmentSoundDescriptor[] sounds, as it contains AudioClips which appear to have a name and a chanceWeight that might be able to be set to 0 to eliminate the sound.
The easiest thing is probably to replace the crying babies with ringing doorbells and sirens
...or simply a blank sound file
How did you access those sound files? Where are they in the game's folders?
where the hell do you even hear these?
The files were extracted, not located in game's folders, but rather within the games code.
Strange, ive never noticed these
If i had, i would probably already have muted them somehow
As said in the title: urban biomes. All of them. Every single city in the game.

Why remove the original message?
He figured it out
Turns out he was hearing his neighbours baby
