I wonder if the Gearbox A & B Eye controls could be put together on a simulated multi-axis joystick. Like, you only have to make one move and both gearboxes respond appropriately, rather than set position A, then set postion B. (Would make for more... "organic" eye movement, but may be more trouble than it's worth...)

The compressor is either on or off, so you probably want a toggle.
Unfortunately this depends on more than what the control type is.
The wizard is usually smart enough to figure out what to use BTW.
It does require some knowledge of keybinds in this case.
I don't use the keyboard at all so had to more or less figure it out as I looked at the actions, but if something has 2 keys, you usually want a "mouse scroll" type, if you want a single key toggle, then it's either a toggle switch (for switch controls, which only support 2 positions) or a toggle value (for the rest).

i can look at all the keyboard controls for the 060 real quick

- changed the whistle audio to loop better (still clicks a little)
- fixed whistle clipping into backhead
- changed whistle handle colour
- made blowoff last a shorter time
- changed ladder colliders
- fixed teeth being invisible
- added eye control levers
- moved the info plate into the cab
- fixed the speedo not working in reverse
- added coal dump lever

- fixed coal dump not working in the HUD

any thomas spawned in before the update cant move his eyes
the reverser is still super sensitive
and personally i think that the throttle has to few notches
It's Thomas, he's a steam engine, not a diesel.
Oh, I thought you meant function-wise. The throttle is a different matter. Others were complaining about Thomas's throttle being too sensitive and it should have more notches, which I agree with.
and im saying give it as much throttle points as a diesel
so my notes/complaints are
reverser is heavy
throttle has enough notches but the mouse scroll/keyboard inputs are a bit heavy so they skip a notch
whistle sticks if you hold it for a second

So it is confirmed that all the backheads for the engines are based on their real life counterparts, except for James as there's no class 28's preserved so they used a class 27
There's no E2s preserved either though, so what did they use for his backhead?

Maybe an option for him to be either? Like so you can change in mod settings if he's a work loco, or he's somehwere in the valley by default (If it is possible to do such a thing in the mods of course)

Problem with doing work train to make there only be one Thomas is the fact that the mod adds two thomases: one with a face and one without

Bad news chat. In order for this to work I'm going to have to make yhomas spawnable because the only way to change a livery is to own the loco, and the only way to do that with LocoOwnership is to buy a naturally-spawned loco

In sandbox you spawn work trains the same way as everything else.

thomas is too far off from an E2, honestly, that it feels... generic? in a way?
full width cab, splashers (which wouldn't be present on an E2 due to the raised running board), simplified front frame extension thingies (the things that stick out at the base of his smokebox) alongside a narrower smokebox saddle, a smaller overall size,
they done made him into a freelance that's inspired by the E2
i love his design over an actual E2 tbh
his ORIGINAL illustrations look more similar to one
but he got shortened and simplified over time so that kinda fell to the wayside

I can imagine people are gonna start making and living in their own Thomas and Friends stories... It's nice. I'm still hoping for more NWR engines (and potentially some coaches) to show up, but I'd be content with our favorite #1 Engine.

They are now. P sure they fixed that with the new update to CCL. After all, I can finally repaint my CCL engines while having vanilla engines reskinned. It's just Katycat's mods (Skin Manager and Passenger Jobs) are semi-rushing out fixes so they're a bit outta whack.
