Also the Yugoslav Railways bought used units, and designated them JŽ 734; they were subsequently designated Series 2133 by the Croatian Railways. I came across this 1950's diesel shunter in TrainSimWorld. This machine is very very old but very good at what it does. It still in the transition body from steamer to diesel as it can be noted by the type of wheels it uses which are seen on steamers. This is a diesel-hydraulic type shunter similar to DE3 but there are no manual gears to worry about, you just have to press forward and backward as required. It's a slow and steady wins the race type shunter. The diesel engine is very old so when you swich to forward or backward it tends to drop the RPM temporary. Misuse probably could lead to a sudden shutdown due to low rpm.
Much of the electrics and electronics are very old and outdated, there is nothing fancy but that's OK, it's how we like it here, old school and outdated. It's a bit like driving a bulldozer or construction equipment today. This locomotive does not use chain coupling, it suprisingly uses air based system where you had to manually pull down the leaver as well. A unique diesel shunter. Would suit weatherd or very dirty apperance with lots of oil and smoke stains mainly not rust but sun faded paint would be good two.
