I'm the over-prepper. Major anxiety over having to improv.
And as a result of that anxiety, I'm really bad at improvisation. I.e., I wouldn't be half as bad at it if I weren't so anxious over it.

I have plenty of practice having anxiety, I can assure you.

Seriously though, my preferred means of practicing improv is to be a player in TTRPGs, but I've mostly been running for the past couple years.
