Hello everyone im here to give you all a sneak peek into what im working on, its a monster book expansion for draw steel, think about it like a Monsters 2 book, but obviously its all fan made. The intent of this book is to reunite different people from the community to work on it, so im here to invite you, creative people to submit your own monsters to appear on this book, we can talk about this a bit better on DM's if you are interested but the idea is simple, we will obviously have a better structure and give credits, change the art for some more official ones and organize this a lot better, right now this is just a prototype for the project. Literally everything in this book is subject to change and probably will so im very open to feedback and suggestions!

Will this be a kickstarter (backer kit, etc.)? A payed product or just something from and to the community? I'm excited either way but I'd love some avenue to support the artists.

The idea is to be something totally free made from the community for the community!

We don't have any deadlines or timeframes yet its only the start of the project so we are just gathering people for the project and starting things now

I have this idea for an eco/bio horror band that I’ll save for this

I probably won't make a whole band as I don't have the time, might do something more like the lightbenders and basilisks (couple of variants on a monster) or the ogres and trolls (a few monsters at different echelons), or a solo

Expanded existing groups would be so useful honestly

Or even doing something like dastards (don’t know if we can use that term cause it comes after the license)

Like named versions of existing monsters

Yeah I thought about that too, though my main project is expanding an existing band so we'll see 😅

Yes this is totally ok, we don't need full blown monster bands every time, you can even make one solo monster for example or something like the lightbenders is totally fine dont worry haha

Yeah the original idea for this book was literally a monster book expansion, with only expanding existing monster bands, thats why the first thing i designed for it are the 2nd echelon humans, but now you can create your own monsters or expand existing ones no problem!
