Hi all! :D
I'm working on a campaign specific title where the players attend a fey party and live to tell the tale. I prepped a bunch of word riddles, a dance party, some social challenges and more. Now if they do very well on these, i want to have a reward at hand that gives little Bonuses and i thought a title would be cool
Now i have rough ideas what the bonuses could be but i'm struggling with actual implementation. If you have any thoughts i'd love to hear them ^^

Partied with the Fey

  • Swift Dancer: You gain +1 to Disengage
  • Fey Trickery: Minor Illusion Magic?
  • Pleasant Company: Edge on Interpersonal tests made to appear charming or friendly
  • Riddle Master: ?

I would like if Riddle Master allows Players to set a word "trap" for enemies? Something like if the players put in the effort to talk in riddles they get a bonus out of it. Negotiation Bonuses might work here, but i personally don't like the negotiation rules as much, so i wouldn't use them as often.
And for the Fey Trickery i'm thinking of how "mechanical" it has to get, or if it could just be left open as flavour and for the players to get creative (Especially with regards to stuff like the Harlequin Shadows Illusion Magic, don't want to step on their toes too much?)

You could make Riddle Master an interpersonal skill. Could name it something like Fey Tongue (as oppose to silver tongue), with the idea is the character has learned to speak in riddles like the fey. That way it's not explicitly tied to the Negotiation system if you're not a huge fan of it.

For Fey Trickery, maybe give them the Arcane Trickery perk with a couple other illusion options and a limited number of existing options. Or just give the whole thing, it's cool, but not game breaking and is one of the suggestions for Titles.
