Hey folks! I just searched through the Monsters manuscript (patron packet 4) and put together a sheet with some basic data about damage types. For each damage type, the sheet shows:

  • How many creatures have immunity
  • How many creatures have weakness
  • The number of creatures that can deal that type
  • The number of 'Malice Features' blocks that can deal that type

I'm using this data to help my design of homebrew monsters and player options. I hope this is useful to y'all too!

Wow. Surprised and I guess also not by how rare damage weakness is. Really would have liked to see more of that in the base game, especially since Weakness feels like it solved the problem Vulnerability had in 5E of it being very swingy and all or nothing.

I'm surprised that Holy seems to only be upsides, but I guess that makes sense for something that is so core to Conduit (?)

Almost if not all of the holy weakness is demons,

so it's not super representative

seems like poison and corrupt "worst" damage types to deal, with holy being the "best"

Also like in 4e, dealing poison damage as a Hero is not the best plan 😅
