This might be a long shot, but here we go. Basic Edition was released in the late 1970’s, and quickly outgrew the original couple of box sets, resulting in the 1991 compilation known as the Rules Cyclopedia. I’m going to be running it somewhere within roughly half an hour of La Crosse, Wisconsin, possibly at Gamer’s Sanctum in Sparta, though that’s entirely open to negotiation. I’m available most weekdays after 3pm until around 10pm.
I’ll be running classic modules you may know of, like Night’s Dark Terror, as well as newer ones you probably don’t, such as Tomb of the Serpent King. There will also be plenty of more downtime and homebrew adventure.

1: Whether or not you can make the time and location, and what the preferred times and locations are for you.
2: Level of experience with Basic and other ttrpgs.
3: Whether or not you have a copy of the Rules Cyclopedia, so that I can send you a pdf if not.
4: What rpg modules you’ve played, and what you remember from them (positive, negative, or neutral).
