what are you smoking

deft galleon
ionic swallow
#

to begin with what is up with the disclaimer at the start?

#

the question itself is barely coherent but if i understand you correctly the answer is no

#

This can be a graduate or a research level(even a PHD) level topic disguised a question
🤣

Ngl, you sound like the E = mc^2 + AI guy

deft galleon
ionic swallow
#

the sentences do not make much sense

deft galleon
#

also which part?

ionic swallow

but rather it's the paragraph as a whole than any sentence that is confusing

deft galleon
ionic swallow
#

what

gilded arrow
#

Also how is this C++ related?

ionic swallow
#

are you asking us why you are asking the question?

#

i don't think so

simple plover
#

yes, we need a machine that emulates perpetual motion so we get 100% efficiency , then we losslessly transmit this energy into our machine
after giving the perpetual motion machine intial kickstart , we dont need to disturb this system
we can compute as much information as needed without need to provide any external power (the ZERO dollars you were talking about), its a fully self sufficient system

this is actually a project i want to do , are you interested ?

#

my first task is to figure out where to hide the battery, as with any perpetual motion device

deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
#

anyways

#

R u sure about those machines?

simple plover
#

100%

deft galleon
#

just give me anme of those machines which can happen to these

simple plover
#

i use very specific hardware and improve the efficeicny of the system , very very close to 100%

#

but wait , what are you going to contribute to this project ?

deft galleon
#

and any proof gentleman so that i can believe in you of what you r saying is true or not(like experience or working in x field...)?

deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
#

just being cautious/.. 🙂

simple plover
#

im open to sharing if you tell me what you are willing to contribute to this @deft galleon

deft galleon
#

but you r saying its not

simple plover
# deft galleon but you r saying its not

100% efficient perpetual machines are, yes
but i have one that comes very close , it does it with balancing physics laws (like thermodynamics ,conservation of energy , Noether's theorem, etc)

deft galleon

simple plover
#

and not just here to troll me

deft galleon
#

What r the needs for this btw?

#

anyways

#

not to be lying

simple plover
#

its a PHD level research project, took me few years

#

with my PHD guide

deft galleon
#

and thinking about to make a machine liek this

simple plover
deft galleon
#

but hearing from someone who already did it feels werid to me

#

btw I know a much C++

simple plover
#

and i can scale it up

#

its a bit expensive at the start

deft galleon
#

and moving towards advanced topics on graduate lvl /undergraduate lvl(or upper) Algorithms and memory stuffs

simple plover
#

wait , i might be saying too much

deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
#

what if someday i can be helpful to you

simple plover
simple plover
#

but the person needs to be proficient with C++

#

it might take you a year or two at the very least

deft galleon
simple plover
simple plover
#

oh , you already know programming ?

#

what language do you know ? what kind of projects have you made so far ?

deft galleon
#

i often do not reveal my interests in other fields btw

simple plover
#

i only care about ur programming

deft galleon
simple plover
#

@deft galleon now that you have decided to do C++ seriously , i will be seeing you around in here and in #cpp-help-text

feel free to hit me up if u need any resources , help with learning C++

simple plover
deft galleon
#

Anyways that non hypothethical machine?

simple plover
deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
#

Why you want this from me btw and why did you even care ?( i mean why does somebody would care about someone's learning paths nowdays litreally)?

#

:/

simple plover
# deft galleon Why you want this from me btw and why did you even care ?( i mean why does some...

because i see a young passionate indvidual in you who is clearly fascinated by this field , a blend of programming , math , physics and electronics
and i want to help someone like that , when i was ur age , i wished someone included me in something like this , that would have helped me learn so much
im giving this oportunity to you.
when i say "i expect regular updates" , i mean , i want to push you to become better , experrience like this will help you in future a lot

deft galleon
simple plover
#

im not forcing you to do anything
if you dont want to do it , you are free to say " i dont want this opportunity" , i will drop it instnatly

simple plover
# deft galleon So ,in which thing you r actually working toward?

its basically silicon based highly efficient power convverters
do you know about GaN chargers that are like 93% efficient ? this is the next step of that , bleeding edge of technology

lot of times we need to run semiconductor simulations , for which we need people who know physics and C++ together

deft galleon
simple plover
#

ok i think i have revelead too much , i need to stop

deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
deft galleon
simple plover
#

@deft galleon do u have a resource to learn C++ ?

deft galleon
#

but why this hasn't been on webs yet?

simple plover
deft galleon
#

THese + vs code + some other youtube C++ tuturoials videos like (its long btw)

#

i will not gonna use all of them but will sort them soon

#

and will do very few from them !

#

these+

#
  • there r other some playlists too
#

But again saying i will sort them too

#

Disclaimer - I will delete this after few hours!

#

@simple plover

simple plover
# deft galleon

i would skip the brocode and freecodecamp
cherno's channel is good for getting introduction about new C++ concepts , then u can read more about them and learn them on ur own

cppreference is basically the "documentation" for the whole language

I personally dont like these "full language in 6 hours" kind of tutorials , they are (in my opinion) a bad way to learn.

i recommend using a book to learn it , learncpp.com is a free website , that is what i used to learn

#

the 3 hours pointer course is alright , it helped me when i was doing pointers , but its unnecessary imo

deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
#

and not even these also?

simple plover
#

a book is probaly better

deft galleon
simple plover
# deft galleon and not even these also?

i dont know about the first one , but apna college is ...... a bit questionable
and cherno's channel is good , but its not exactly "teaching" , it is more for people to understand new concepts and get an overview of it

if you have to use a youtube channel , search for Mike shah on youtube , he teaches specific concepts and covers concepts well

deft galleon
#

ryt?

simple plover
deft galleon
#

is it good/

#

this might help other ppls too

simple plover
simple plover
#

after being above avergae C++ learner then do projects
you can do projects as u learn , it can be as simple as a hangman game or wordle game

deft galleon
#

I will definately contact you(if you will nowhere to find and i got a reminder) after few months when i will be much good in C++ and algo and physics and memory ,efficiency,"underhood' knowledge, maths, etc!

simple plover
#

if i were in your position, i would focus on school and do this programming thing in my spare time

simple plover
#

you can also choose fields like biomedical or mechanical engineering , where the main job isnt to write programs but programing helps if you know it

deft galleon
#

buddy ,now your thoughts and mine is now seprated by this now!

#

I dont fucking wants job

#

and actually fick school!

#

THey r fucking fucked up so much

simple plover
deft galleon
#

Man r u serious

simple plover
#

if you are the smartest in the room , you are in the wrong room

if you think you are outcompeting everyone in your school easily , you need to change your competition , dont compare yourself to them , dont care what they do

deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
simple plover
#

then it shouldnt bother you that they say "its too hard" for very simple problems

deft galleon
#

btw , in which field r a master in?

simple plover
deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
#

but u r urself an a master of electronics?

simple plover
deft galleon
deft galleon
simple plover
# deft galleon but u r urself an a master of electronics?

why is that surprising ? its very common for electronics people to learn programming , we have a C programming course in the very first year
have you heard of embedded software engineers ? most of them are people who learn electronics but also are interested in programming

and as for maths , every single engineering degree involves learning a ton of math , we are taught a lot of things in common like multivariable calculus, various transforms liek fourier , lapalce and so on

#

pick up any engineering degree, that involves learning a ton of math , even CS needs math

deft galleon
simple plover
deft galleon
#

instead of applying them

simple plover
deft galleon
#

in those courses?

simple plover
deft galleon
#

anyways i think you were jst taught applied maths thn!

simple plover
simple plover
deft galleon
simple plover
simple plover
# deft galleon so sad :/

the reverse actually , its very nice to see something happen in front of your eyes . you are not just doing theory all day , you get to actually apply the stuff u learnt and see stuff come to life

#

would you not like to see a program you wrote , lets say, sharpen the pixels in an image and improve image quality ?

#

that would be cool wouldnt it ?

#

also @deft galleon i feel like the conversation has faded wayyyyyyyy off topic for a C++ help channel , if u want to talk , ping me in off topic channels

deft galleon
#

btw , How to learn those things, which u had learned?

#

without going to univeristiy and college at all?

simple plover
deft galleon
simple plover
# deft galleon without going to univeristiy and college at all?

all the top universities release all their course that they teach in their classrooms , for free , online

you can learn them right now , for free, the whole engineering , any field of your choosing

MIT, Harvard, Stanford , all of them have websites with fully free courses on them. platforms like coursera, edx , offer free courses. Since you are in india , checkout Swayam , NPTEL , you will find courses from top IITs , completely free, those are the actual courses they teach to the students

#

if you go to google and type in "MIT university XYZ bachlore's course , full syllabus" , you will land on the website of that university , then look at the syllabus for the course you are interested in
then checkout which courses are required , then find those free courses on these platforms

#

you can learn everything taught in top engineering universities , completely for free , sitting at home

simple plover
deft galleon
#

but still many teens r consumed by lust, porn, games,tv,schools, coaching, competitons ,etc...

simple plover
#

the youtube channel is a popular indian youtube channel, apna college , they had stirred up massive contraversy a while back with open source software and encouraging peopel to make nonsense PRs to big open source software projects which was a headache for the maintainers
so i assumed you are from india

deft galleon
#

umm

#

ryt

#

ok

simple plover
#

you can mark it as "solved"

deft galleon

ok

can u make me in ur firend list?
