if you are on windows, I'd recommend using Visual Studio (not Visual Studio Code) or CLion
and then things should work pretty much out of the box
no like i downloaded vs code i even started by writing hello world andd all beginerr stuff
VSC not for beginners
but it showed thousand errors prolly bcs i havent download libraries or smthing
just like yu do with python
with just ?
#include <iostream>
int main(){std::cout <<"42";}
^, but if you want to continue using vscode for some reason you should show us the error so that we can help
so do i download vs aGAIN Like i got frustrated and uninstalled
uhh im not so sure about that
but it was hello word
what
very confusing naming from microsoft
oo i have seen these both
but
the problem i was having while downloading the first
like
when i download the community version
i didnt have options like cpp and others which i saw in a 31 hr video for cpp
this should explain how to install it (haven't entirely read it myself but it seems promising)
you should check the "Desktop Development with C++" box
iirc there's also the option to install clang on the right hand side under optional components, I'd check that as well
so like last doubt so like in future i want to connect this like with unity or other stuff for which i have option right now should i do it now or i can do that later?
okayy
and
