So i was setting C++ to start with and i tried to run the simplest code out there and everytime i try to run it it shows me this even tho the file exists

the big advantage of VS is that it comes with everything you need out of the box, and ready to go.

the "font page" is the workloads page?

I was using visual studio code normally like a month ago without facing this problem but it just showed up when i came back

my guess is that the problem is that you were using gcc instead of g++

i would still highly recommend to use VS instead of vscode
