creating basic cipher program

im currently creating a program that takes in a file and the text the file is encoded in and prints out the encoded text followed by the text decoded. it uses an alphabet that is encoded and then prints out both kinds of text. issue is 1) when i try to output the file normally it spits out one line and then is followed by NONSENSE and 2) im not sure how to use parallel arrays to replace one alphabet with another. help best sooner than later its due very soon sorry :) attached are the function, the output, and a sample of what it could look like

the nonsense comes because you are reading outside the bounds of some array, I am guessing it is from the strcpy function

are you building this in linux?
