Serious character that is learning about how humans work and they add humor by being very confused by this nonsense (Data in Star Trek, Teal'c in Stargate, Castiel in Supernatural)
found family
Doomed yuri/yaoi 💔💔

Castiel and Supernatural mentioned....
A group of characters have a big secret but have to continue on keeping appearances as normal
In TVTropes speak, https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Masquerade
Evil guy is actually good guy the whole time.
Like they do evil things out of context but with context you realise why they did all those things like...having to steal back something that belonged to you because it could mean life or death for your civilization but because the story wasn't focused on that, from the viewers and everyone else's perspective it looked like they were just trying to conquer planets that conveniently the protagonist happened to go to
I also just practically described this movie

One falling first but the second person falls harder even though they said they wouldn't fall for the other person
Girl gets told by boy that she's never going to amount to anything without him. Girl leaves boy. Girl absolutely soars without stupid boy holding her down.
Like the porcupines on Sing.
Nerd in love with pretty or popular girl
